  "We had Hudson come to move our large furniture in our house. We were quoted a really good hourly rate, however it took a lot longer than any moving company before with less things to move this time. It took 9 hours, and the last time we moved with the same exact furniture and boxes took about 4-5 hours. Packing the first truck went really well, but after that it was slow moving afterwards. They packed one and almost a half of a truck. The movers also listed the travel time as an hour when the house is only about 5 miles away, pretty much, she pretty much a straight shot down the road from our old house. Not sure how that calculated to an hour. They broker several times, and lost others in the process. When I spoke to the owner he was less than concerned, and never ended up responding regarding anytime of claim or attempting any customer service to resolve the issues with our move after paying $1,600. They also left about half of everything we needed upstairs in the garage. So much for hiring someone since we had to move most of it upstairs into the house. Be careful. The rate looks good, however it will take them twice as long as other companies, things will break, your items will not at least be placed on the same floor as where they will stay, and the owner could care less that you are disappointed with his company and the service you paid for. We only used this company because they came recommended, but honestly it cost more than it was worth. It’s really funny that someone called because they left their tools, and when they were asked what about the issues with the things that were broken she said oh the owner was going to be contacting us to take care of that. Yeah right! He didn’t care yesterday, he never responded yesterday, oh and we still haven’t heard from him. They are really lucky those tools didn’t go in the trash and I didn’t show him the same sense of customer service that we were shown. Thanks Hudson won’t be hiring you again, and will for sure share my experience to all of my clients in the real estate world when they ask to recommend a moving company. Word travels fast when you are in the housing market."
