  Twon and Billy did an amazing job! Went above and beyond to help me unload heavy furniture and boxes into my storage unit. Highly recommend!

  We were very happy with the three guys that showed up to move our stuff. They were hard workers and willing to go above and beyond for us. They made the moving process so much easier for us. Would definitely recommend them. My only complaint is that I wish the office guys were faster at returning messages, but they did eventually. Lillie Mann

  When things don't go as well as you expect, is the business you hire willing to make things right? To go above and beyond to make it right? Kyle and L'Goff was more than willing for me. I had a spinet piano that I wanted moved from my old apartment into my new one, so I just decided to have L'Goff (they came highly recommended by a friend) move everything else in addition to the piano. Just about everything about the move was great. The crew was timely, friendly, professional, and well-informed. But yes, moving a piano down a staircase and up another staircase is hard, the piano was damaged internally, and it wasn't playable (or feasibly repairable) after the move. I was really disappointed. I mean, that's why I hired movers. But I get that mistakes happen even among professionals. So I was calm as we started the first part of addressing the damages: First, I had misunderstood the cost of the other insurance policies and only had the very basic "$0.60 per pound" policy as opposed to a higher one. So if you haven't used movers before, be sure to communicate and make sure that you understand the insurance, a lapse that was really on my end. But even with my misunderstanding, Kyle *immediately* took the cost of what I paid for the piano from the cost of the move without me even asking. Immediately. Further, he was patient with the payment as I was getting into my new place; it is something I don't expect and no one should expect from a business, but Kyle met me where I was. Now, even though I was calm during this part, I wasn't happy: my piano was broken beyond feasible repair (i.e., cost more to repair than it cost to purchase.) I made a review sharing my experience with what I thought was a fair rating (3 stars), and before I finished my engagement that evening, Kyle had called me personally to make things right. He had already done the job, he had covered the insurance I had agreed to, and he had received payment. Yet he still wanted to make sure I was a happy customer. So the second part of addressing the matter, we agreed that if I found a new piano, he would have his team move the piano in, and he would move the old, broken piano out at no further cost to me. And sure enough, we agreed upon a date, the movers came by, got the piano out, just as friendly and professional as before (I decided to just get a keyboard with weighted keys for now), but he was willing to move a new piano in if that's what I wanted. Kyle made it right by me. You can look at L'Goff's other reviews: Things don't go wrong very often with L'Goff. But know that in the *rare* case that something does (because no one and no business in the world is perfect,) ...I am 100% confident that L'Goff will make it right by you. Enough so that I'd hire them again.
