  We could not be more pleased with the service that we received from Lighthouse Movers. We hand picked them over 12 other movers that we had interviewed to move my mother from Florida back home to Illinois shortly after my father passed away. Being a difficult time in our lives, Lighthouse Movers made a very unpleasant experience a very pleasant and easy transition. We received the utmost professional and sincere service one could ever ask for. They were very thorough, extremely careful and very respectful throughout the entire process. They also have very competitive prices! Thanks to Doug, the owner, and Tae and his crew, our moving experience could not have been any easier or more pleasant. Thank you all for your dedication!

  WARNING: Please Do Not use this moving company!! They are the absolute worst movers ever. I was planning a move from Rhode Island to Georgia. First they co-mingled my items with another clients and shipped my items to New Hampshire and I received items that belonged to someone else. Furnishings were broken, glass broken, vases broken, and the told me to submit a claim. The offered me $200 for almost $1000 worth of damage that they caused. I had to rent a storage unit to house the items meant for their New Hampshire client. Now I am out an additional $125.00. To top it off the Claims Agent Charlie Peterson was the most arrogant SOB ever. He had the gull to tell me that I NEEDED TO GET MY ITEMS INSURED prior to the move to protect them from any mistakes made by Light House Movers.. I gave up trying to collect because they are obviously not interested in getting my items returned nor are they interested in getting their other clients items returned the them. I think I need to write a review each week to warn anyone considering Light House Movers to look elsewhere. If you have also had a negative experience with this horrible company please write a review so that their rating will decline to the point that no one will ever consider hiring this firm!!!!!

  This did NOT happen with our company!!! Please remove this review! We have never dealt with this individual and have never quoted a move from Rhode Island to anywhere. We are based in Jacksonville Florida and have never heard of the claims agent mentioned.
