Breast Friends has used Lile Moving for many years utilizing their services to move some of our auction items to a venue. They have always been responsive and professional. Recently we relocated offices and I contact Lile about moving our furniture that we no longer needed and to take it to recycling. Bruce came out and gave us a quote and took the time to listen to our needs. Nick came out the day of the move and checked in on us to make sure we had our needs met. Martin helped with the pricing and made it affordable for us to do business. If you are looking for a local mover Lile is your go to moving company. We had the best moving experience having Lile move our home. Customer Services was easy to work with. The movers were very professional and courteous. If you ever need a moving company be sure to call Lile.

Martin and Sherry are completely incompetent. Sherry is unresponsive, and unorganized. They didn't have any contingency plans (which the rep who quoted us said there would be), and Martin was extremely rude and unhelpful when they mixed our move up with another move, telling us the day before move day that they wouldn't have a truck for us. I can quote Martin as saying "I don't care what [the guy who quoted us] said" when I asked about the guaranteed pick-up day in the contract. We heard later that they even acknowledged their error to other members of the move team, but they never contacted us to correct it. If the driver hadn't gone out of his way (driver doesn't work for Lile) to deal with everything we would have had a serious scheduling issue and probably lost tens of thousands of dollars paying another company to quickly move us. Save your money and sanity by not working with these people, they were essentially a complete detriment to the move process with other people having to pick up their tremendous slack. Here is my response to the owners response: The weather had nothing to do with my move. The guy who quoted us said someone would be there to pick our stuff up and put it in storage whether there was a driver available or not which was a deciding factor in going with NAVL. When Martin and Sherry mistook our move for someone else's that they actually could get because of weather, Martin essentially acknowledged that they don't care what the assessor says about guaranteed pick up days. This means Lile makes promises they don't intend to keep in order to get the sale. Additionally, I had to have the rudest "customer service" interaction I've ever had with Martin, who was blatantly rude and condescending and then eventually hung up on me. Sherry later acknowledged to our truck driver's dispatch (in writing) that she made the mistake, yet we never heard from her or Martin to correct the mistake or apologize, not that they were very responsive to begin with. Had the driver not called and corrected Martin and Sherry's mistake we would have gone into contract with an emergency mover who would have shown up the same day as NAVL and probably cost us tens of thousands of dollars. So no, it didn't go as smoothly as it could have, because Lile doesn't have competent professionals on their staff.

We are sorry that the move did not go as planned. In talking with the Tualatin branch manager, I've come to understand that there was little more context to the disruption in service. On the day of your move: - Interstate 84 was closed due to a landslide from the rain and snow. - WA 14 had a 10,000lb max vehicle weight restriction due to snow. - US 26 was open, but blizzard conditions and under an "extreme weather" warning. Due to the hazardous weather conditions, we have to take into consideration the safety of our crews. Thankfully the long-haul driver was able to drive around the storm conditions and reach your location coming from the east. Again, I'm sorry your move did not go as planned but given the extreme weather conditions I can assure you that the move went as well as it possibly could.
