  We relocated to Vancouver and had a contract with North American Van Lines to move our household goods. Lile is the local NA Van lines agent that was to receive our goods and deliver to our home here. Per our contract the delivery date to our new home would be 7/19 to 7/26. Our truck left our Chicago area home on 7/13; it arrived in Vancouver at Lile on 7/21. Now they say they won’t deliver to us until 8/17. I could understand a few days delay…. But 3+ weeks late is ridiculous. Our stuff didn’t just show up at the Lile office unannounced ; we had a contract and the delivery was scheduled in advance. I don’t understand how they can simply miss a contractual commitment by so much. I called the office over a week ago and have not received a call back. Very poor service and poor customer support.

From the information I gathered from you shipment, Lile made northAmerican aware that we didn't have the capacity to deliver your items until 8/17 before they picked up the items in Chicago.   Renee was extremely helpful thru the process. It took 2 months to get our items. We are submitting a claim to the corporation for compensation. Besides waiting everything was amazing. We only found one broken plate and a damaged chair. The delivery was perfect. No holes or scrapes on walls. If it wasn't for the very long wait I would recommend. Update: I have been contacted by the company and we have submitted a claim. According to our contract we should expect $100 per day it was late and expenses. I will provide an update when I receive one.

  Trusting Lile with our move was a huge mistake. They are one of the worst, most dishonest, and incompetent businesses we have ever dealt with! We hired them with Renee as our agent for our long-distance move. While she was friendly and helpful in gaining our business on our initial meetings, the move itself was chaotic and very poorly managed throughout the process. Communication was mostly non-existent and despite what was promised by Renee, our furniture was neither wrapped nor padded. This resulted in extensive damage to our furniture which took a lengthy, months long process, and a great deal of effort on our part to finally be compensated for. In addition, many of our items were not inventoried, making accounting for our possessions impossible. During the move, we could not get an answer as to where our items were and when they would be delivered. Eventually Renee told us they would be delivered after the contract date. We told her this was unacceptable and finally were able to get our items delivered on the deadline day. Since the actual weight of our items was significantly less than estimated, we were due money back from our initial payment. This should have been credited to us 4-6 weeks after delivery. However, due to failure on Lile’s part to complete the necessary paperwork it took 10 weeks, numerous phone calls, and contacting the BBB for reimbursement.
