  By far the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of using, I felt abused and taken advantage of from start to finish. They broke so much of my stuff and lost a bunch of things too. I was lied to on multiple occasions. The guy's who came to package and take my belongings were rude and aggressive, and as a woman who was by herself I felt very intimidated, especially by the person who was supposed to be in charge. Once they had loaded everything on the truck he tried to tell me that the price I had negotiated for storage was wrong and it would be 10x what they had originally said, I ended up having to call the office and get them to agree on a lower price but it was still way higher than we have originally agreed upon. Then came the time when I wanted it delivered to me, I told them the date I wanted it, but they showed up a week early and said I just had to take it, even though my apartment was not ready. Luckily for me my landlord was very understanding and accommodating otherwise I would have ended up with it being dumped on the street. Most of the large pieces of furniture were damaged or broken, and we lost a bunch of things too. Which is not surprising when you see how they pack your stuff. The guy's delivering it were beyond unprofessional, which is not surprising when you find out they were found on craigslist and not professional movers at all. They were supposed to put the furniture back together but instead they told us they were going on a break and just drove off, leaving us with furniture pieces all over the place, even though that is part of the service we paid for. They also left a couple of very heavy pieces furniture in the wrong room, that were way too heavy for me to move. When I called the company the next day the manager refused to take my calls or return them. I really don't know how they can get away with treating their customers so badly, Its criminal. This company should not be allowed to operate.

  A COMPLETE SCAM!!!! Once they pick up your things, you can throw the contract out the window. The driver for delivery called two hours before and not "24 hours". He tried to scam me out of $700 redelivery fee and when I refused he told me he could do whatever he wanted. All of that resulted in 3 out of 6 tv NEW broken. This was no accident you can see where the box was ripped and the TV was hit with a sharp object. Customer service does not exist and don't expect any accountability for anything.

  Working with A Plus Van Lines added much undue stress to our move from CT to CO due to significant damage to our belongings, poor and unprofessional customer service, and inaccurate timeframe estimates. Beware if you are contracting through the broker Alliance Van Lines, they will subcontract to A Plus Van Lines. Damaged Items: The moving truck arrived with our mattresses strapped to the OUTSIDE of the truck. One of the mattresses had significant water damage and stains and had to be replaced at our own cost. The mattress company was shocked that a mattress would have been transported in this manner. We received multiple boxes of plates, bowls, and glassware that were completely shattered. It was as if the box had been thrown on the ground. Finally, a valuable oil painting which was carefully packaged in its own box for protection never arrived. Customer Service: Once A Plus Van Lines has your items, you feel like you are held hostage. They have all the leverage and no incentive to provide good customer services which leads to very unprofessional interactions. This was especially true while working with Liz who was extremely rude and even hung up on us because her “shift had ended.” No one was able to provide answers when we asked when we could expect our belongs or even where they were currently held. At one point, they told us that our items had been loaded in the truck – the next day they said our items still were not loaded. We felt very in the dark for the month we waited for our belongings and A Plus Van Lines did nothing to help reassure us or alleviate that stress.
