Great airport. Nice building. People are very nice. They do plane tours. I believe there are 2 choices of routes. It was a lot of fun. Well kept equipment and a great pilot. Check them out!

There was only a few dollars difference between Manistee and Traverse City or Grand Rapids. The plane flew to Chicago O’Hare where we could easily connect to our other plane. It was only 3 miles from home and parking was free. It was a small plane (about 15 passengers) but the pilots were friendly and did double duty as flight attendants. It was about an hour and a half flight to Chicago.

This airport is a gem - its on human scale. Staff is not stressed, so they do their job well. (polite, patient & understanding of harried travelers...) After using MBL, GRR is a fading memory. The inclusion of a (working) fireplace was a stroke of immense sensitivity by the designer. (the fact the fireplace passed layers of review is a mystery in our technology obsessed world...)
