  I just finished my second move with Marathon movers. The first move went relatively smoothly except for a damaged lamp which they paid for and a damaged air cleaner which costs several hundred dollars but I was not going to hold them responsible for it. It basically came apart when they were going upstairs and although some plastic tabs were broken I'm able to still use the unit and so I did not charge them at all for that damage. The price of the move was excellent, and the movers were professional and hardworking, and of course only human, so I was able to overlook the hiccups. Fast forward about 2 years to today's move, different crew, same company. The move took over 8 hours, mainly because they sent three movers instead of the four that I requested and that I was going to be billed for. A phone call was able to clear up that misunderstanding so I would only be billed for the three. Other than sending fewer movers than requested, I was surprised by a $200 motorcycle delivery charge which I knew nothing about ahead of time. I'm wondering if maybe there was something in the fine print? Anyway, I can't say enough good things about the three movers who helped make this happen today. I don't fault them for anything, they were kind, professional, hard-working, exactly what any reasonable person would hope for in a mover. In fact, I don't know what wizardry they practice to put all my stuff in the truck so perfectly, but that is a rare skill and it allowed the move to happen in one trip. So thanks again to those three movers for your hard work.

  Andrew we greatly appreciate the feedback and the fact that you chose to go with our company for a 2nd time. We apologize for the mishap of the number of movers that were required for your job. When asked about the things that were going to be moved on the initial phone call, a motorcycle was never mentioned to us. If we would have known this, our motorcycle charge would have been mentioned up front. Besides the miscommunication we are glad the move itself went well and hope you enjoy your new home!

  We've moved a lot and this was by far the best moving experience we’ve had! Milton and his team were on time and saved us a considerable amount off the packing and moving estimate, because they got it done so efficiently and quickly. We coordinated all this long distance. Milton and Marathon’s office manager, Whitney, were both very professional and fantastic. Super responsive when we had questions. Couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely be using Marathon again. Highly recommend!

  Absolutely blown away by the ease of our moving due to how quickly and professional marathon was. Literally moved an entire storage unit and full two bedroom apartment with an hour commute to the our new house in five hours total. Would 1000% recommend to anyone needing to move in the future. Came in under the original quote and was worth every penny.
