Called Mark the mover for a quick banker boxes move in the buckhead area. They were super helpful and were able to complete the job in the estimated time next day. Definitely will use again when needed.

If I could give Glenn's team 200 stars, I would. They really got us out of a jam and ended up being the BEST movers that we've ever had. Professional is an understatement! He told us that his teams were good but even the weakest link on the team that I had was well trained and self checked. This is a real review...and all I can say is Thank you Mark the Mover!!

Nov 2021: We had Mark the mover pack our house, load up our house and take it to a storage unit and then a year later move us from the storage unit back into our next house. Packing job was terrible. There are picture frames and important documents just thrown in the bottom of wardrobe boxes. The loading of the truck the next day was done alright, albeit they damaged the house and several items as they did it, and the move back to the next house was equally as fast, but also not done with care. Broken lights, damaged dining room table, cut a leather chair, and dropped glass all over our entrance from a light they broke. None of it was reported to me as they did it. I had to find it all later. We will see how the damage and claim process goes, but I don’t have high hopes. They also didn’t explain the bill to me as it was charged, they reported early show times to start their clock and overtly asked for a generous tip each time. All the movers out there are probably the same, but I won’t be using them again. Update in Feb 2022: Still waiting on the processing of our claims.

We have reviewed the customer’s moving files in order to thoroughly investigate the comments that have been made in this review. Mark the Mover has performed three services this year for the customer. In examining the customer’s first two files we found that we packed the customer on January 14th and then moved the customer to a public storage unit on January 16th. Upon completion of the move an inspection was done with the customer in order to determine if any transit related damage had occurred. The customer completed and co-signed a damage report form along with the crew leader. Both records show that the customer did not report any transit related damage. The customer also signs documents whereby (s)he agrees to report any transit related damage within ninety (90) days from the date of the move. The customer did not report any damage from these two services. It should be noted that both parties in any transaction have rights and they have responsibilities. It is the customer’s responsibility to report transit related damage that is not discovered upon completion of the move within the agreed upon time period. Additionally it is also worth noting that once household goods are placed in a public storage facility the furnishings are out of the mover’s care, custody and control. The mover cannot be responsible for who handles stored items or how they are handled while in public storage. The final service for this customer was on November 20th. The customer’s furnishings were removed from public storage and taken to the residence. On November 24th the customer made a preliminary verbal report indicating that transit related damage had occurred during this move. On November 24th the Claims Manager sent a Claim Form to the customer so that detailed information could be provided. A written notice of damage is required and the customer agreed to provide this in the event damage occurred. So far the customer has not submitted a claim. It is also worth mentioning that the customer decided to select the free option on their damage contract. The free option only provides .60¢ per pound per damaged item, i.e. a 100 lb. dining table would settle for a maximum of $60.00. Mark the Mover would like to take this opportunity to remind customers to communicate and ask questions from the point of sale to the final inspection. They should also understand the contracts and documents that they are signing. Furthermore a customer must recognize their own responsibilities in the moving process. In our four decades of moving experience we’ve found that if a customer will follow these steps then the less likely there is for a quick posting of a public grievance. Most importantly a customer is generally more satisfied with their move even if damage occurs. Once this customer submits their Claim Form Mark the Mover will promptly process the claim in accord with the terms of the damage contract that the customer agreed to.
