Update 01/2021: Company called us a couple months ago with the same promise to fix things as if we hadn't already been trying for months, called us only to realize (AGAIN as if we hadn't already gone over this) that they were way past making this right other than compensating us financially. The receptionist again promised us that we would be hearing from their warranty department, which never happened. On the bright side, Google alerted me that my photos on here have 10,000 views. Hope all this bad publicity was worth it. Update 10/6. The company has apparently been reacting to (and removing) the multiple bad reviews and comments on their Facebook page as well and then actually reached out to us. But they again only offered to fix the roofline which is virtually impossible at this point without undoing all the interior insulation and electric work we have done. And again, they had the opportunity to make this right immediately after, because we were calling them the day it arrived, but they intentionally sat on it and made empty promises hoping we would go away. Apparently they have done it to others as well. I would be happy to remove these reviews had they tried to make this right. But they did not, and now that my roof photo has been seen 7000 times they suddenly care. And yet, they won't offer to do anything except "fix the roof" which they know they technically cannot do. It's a convenient way to say, "we tried but..." even though they know this to be a lie. The sad thing is there ARE still ways to make this right, but they would rather double down on their pride. Update 8/18. Just bought a 3rd shed from another manufacturer and they did a great job. Update 7/24. We spoke with another representative from Old Hickory Buildings who said that they no longer use Martin's for their own stock of sheds, as the quality had dropped. I don't understand if this is the case, then why they won't help us make this right? Update 6/28. Still no contact from the company after everything they said they would do, they say they are going to call and never do. Not sure how these people can consider themselves Christian and treat their customers this badly. Update: after contacting the head of the company that oversees Martin Mini Barns, they agreed the roof had been poorly constructed and told Martin to repair it at cost, unfortunately because they took weeks to finally respond to our complaints, we had to continue with our construction, and now there is no way for them to fix it without undoing all our insulation, electric work and drywall. The owner came out to see the roof and also agreed it was poorly done, but didn't say how we would be compensated. Now more than a week later we still have not received any word from them about how they plan to address the situation. They are hoping we will just go away. Terrible business practice. Previous review: I came to Martin's because I was told they were an ethical company and took pride in their product. Unfortunately I'm having to revise my initial positive review. The first time Martin's dropped a custom barn on my property it was mostly a good deal, while the barn had a few sloppy mistakes, they were slight enough to overlook. Not this time. We have dropped another barn on the land with the intention to upgrade it into a cabin, and Martin's delivered it with several striking mistakes made, there was a huge gash in the skid, the roof is wavy and inconsistent all over, and it's missing a foot of trim. Lots of promises made and broken, very poor communication throughout the process. Incredibly disappointed in what was once a trustworthy business.

The WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced from the owner, secretary, and all the way to warranty and claims

I have been extremely disappointed. My building was hurriedly built and damaged by the forklift or skid loader. There was missing tin on the roof. The roof line or ridge cap is bowed warped or rippled due the the roof support boards being cut inconsistent lengths. See photos. The communication empathy compassion or common courtesy of a reply would have gone a long way. There has been no accountability or responsibility demonstrated. I have asked repeatedly for a call back and until I called the regional rep and then the Vice President of this region did I finally get a call from the owner/manager of Martin’s mini barns. I am still awaiting financial restitution.
