  The move itself was great. Cheers to the movers. The management, not so much. They overcharged me vs. the initial quote (claimed the "drive from SF to Oakland" is billed as 1.5 hours - I have an email showing a quote saying it is billed as 1 hour), took a $100 deposit that was not even applied to the final cost, and refused to give me an itemized receipt to explain the charges. I've tried calling them for 2 weeks now and they will just brush you off, say "I'll get it to you later" and do nothing. Update: after a lot of back and forth I finally got this resolved, and they are refunding the extra charges. I'd like to think it's an honest mistake, but the whole ordeal left a sour taste. Again, the move itself was fine, so no complain there. Just be mindful of the final charge.

  We worked with Master Movers when we relocated from San Francisco to the South Bay (Conrad for scheduling, Francisco, Douglas, and Chris for packing and moving) They were incredibly conscientious and professional. They showed up early, took stock of everything that needed to be done, then made quick work of packing everything carefully and loading the truck thoughtfully. Our move was tricky because we had to take things to multiple locations including a storage facility. The team was friendly and accommodating even though we were frazzled. They organized the storage unit super efficiently making sure things were safely stacked, super tidy, and easy to access. They were worth every penny and they saved us many hours of packing and hauling time (and no doubt marriage counseling) if we'd had to do it ourselves. Highly recommend and will call them the next time we need moving help.

  I was trying to coordinate a last minute move, calling a number of moving companies in San Francisco Bay Area. Master Movers was by far the most professional and responsive to my short timeline. They were top notch professionals handling all of my items with care and arrived exactly on time as promised. I am confident this is the best turn key service in the Bay Area and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to make a move.
