  This was the second move with Matt’s moving and I was relying on my prior experience. The situation is we needed to be moved from our condo and a storage facility to a home a few days before having our baby. Issue number 1: incorrect information given to us about what could and could not be moved. Specifically reassured that our crib if partially disassembled could be moved when in fact they don’t move cribs due to liability. Issue number 2: the truck supplied was too small. When I ran through what was listed for the move big pieces of furniture were not noted by the schedulers. No second load was offered. We rented a cargo van to move the remaining 20% of our property. Yes, at 39 weeks on a subzero day in December Issue number 3: they damaged 3 pieces of our furniture. Here’s useful information. You have to ask for premium insurance or else you are reimbursed by weight only. I only included the picture of the glider to show the disregard for our property and inexperience of the movers we had. They stacked heavier things on it and broke the leg. They discretely left a screw that fell out on the chair without telling us. Not only was this a horrible moving experience but it actually cost us money as well. I don’t recommend them. And I will be sure to tell my patients, other expecting mothers in a similar position that I was in, to go with a more capable company.

  The three guys that came out were amazing!! They got our place moved into the truck in less than an hour and were super helpful. My husband was at our house to receive the movers and they were great with communication between my husband and me. This is the first time we have hired movers and I was anxious because I didn't think we were ready, but the guys made it so easy.

  I own a small business, Müv, that helps folks prepare for moving. Before, during and after, we take care of it all! I hired Matt’s moving on an emergency move for the next day. Morning of-mover courtesy call introducing themselves, on time, shoveled( MN weather) wrapped expensive furniture well, used floor runners, follow up text from manager, etc. Extremely courteous staff, I definitely will be using them in the future for moves.
