      Hate to leave this review but feel I want to ensure what happened to me doesn't happen to another consumer. I got this storage in the summer of 2017 when my now husband and I moved in together. We started off paying 90.00 a month and when I closed the storage last month it was up to 183.00 dollars a month. The main reason we knew it was time to close it was we had gone there to remove some items and noticed clearly part of the unit had water damage. It was dry by the time we saw it so no way to know when it happened. Went to office and was given insurance paperwork to call then directly. No knowledge of water leak at any time from the last time we where there(late April /early May) by them. Waited a few weeks to make sure there was no further damage to our things as we prepared to move out of unit. Once we were clear there was no more damage (No more than 2 weeks) I initiated the claim. A claims adjuster NEVER called back and then I get a letter in the mail denying the claim. Called the facility today and was told that we didn't take out their insurance so they have no liability. We will go through our homeowners at this point but we will now possibly have higher premiums all because of something that happen at this location!! It's upsetting that we lost most of our pictures and artwork and they either didn't know or didn't care to call us if/when they were aware of water damage issues.. My suggestion to you is to make sure you ask if the damage is the cause of/by them will you have to use your coverage or will they be a stand up business and cover it. Bare minimum tell you you are responsible for any and all damage if you don't take their insurance UP FRONT!!

      I have been a repeat renter at this storage unit for 4 years. My experience with the staff has always been stellar. If I still lived in Nee Jersey, I would continue to rent there.
