Modern Piano kept us routinely updated from pickup (New Jersey) to drop off (Texas) locations. Jared and his associate were highly courteous and professional. They took great care of our parlor baby grand piano while it was in their care and during assembly. Modern Piano price was very fair and reasonable for such a high caliber and dedicated organ/piano moving company. They were very clear on pricing, which was disclosed in all paperwork, upfront. Truly exceptional customer service and company! Thank you, Modern Piano!

My beloved antique upright piano arrived a couple days ago after having to sit in Modern Piano Moving’s storage facility in Southern California for months due to problems in the house we bought in Parker, CO (2 floods in the house and some renovations). I was so nervous about my 800 pound piano being brought up our 7 very steep stairs, plus the semi bringing it having to be backed into a narrow cul de sac off a very busy road which was under construction. The driver, Jared, was a master at negotiating that huge truck and he and his assistant, Erick, had my piano up the stairs and in place in no time at all. It was all beautifully done, with expertise and good humor. The men, and a young man from Parker, who helped with the stairs, were friendly, very polite, knowledgeable, quick and a delight to work with. THANK YOU to all involved in this move. I wouldn’t hesitate one minute recommending this company!

A professional piano service should be able to deliver pianos undamaged. I submitted pictures of the condition the day of pick up and pictures of the damage on arrival and they denied my claim, unwilling to reimburse for repairs. The wood was cracked on the key cover and the cheek block was chipped. If you prefer your piano to arrive in the same state as it left, go with someone else.
