  In 2017, Kaela Waldstein of Mountain Mover Media attended the Gathering of Nations Powwow at Expo NM as an independent filmmaker and presented the Gathering of Nations Organization with a three-minute video of the dancers, singers, and performers of the Powwow. As an organization, we were impressed with the detail and positive perspective of the video. Kaela approached this project with the utmost respect for the cultural aspects of Native American culture and the event itself. The professionalism of her videography is quite spectacular. The video demonstrated an artistic and intrinsic vision of what she saw through the lens of the camera and the interpretation of the final video was a true-to-life perspective of the Gathering of Nations Powwow. The video work shows talent, skill and insight as an artist with an eye to capture the viewer’s attention as well as create interest for more. We've continued to work with Kaela and her production company on other projects, and in the process earned a Rocky Mountain Emmy nomination for coverage of the event. We encourage other organizations to take the opportunity to view her work and see the artistry and professional quality of her video/film projects. We will definitely work with Kaela again!

  Since 2017 I've worked with Kaela on several occasions, with both the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA) and the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art. The videos she has produced have exceeded our expectations in every way. They have extremely high production value, and Kaela’s eye seems to automatically find what best tells the story. She is passionate about creating videos that evoke feelings in the viewer. Her work focuses on authenticity – from the looks she captures on people’s faces to the best of the physical environment, to the most beautiful artwork. Her videos have helped us define our brand, secure grant monies, and have been the creative focus of a new website. If you need a phenomenal event videographer, she's the one!

  So grateful to have worked with Kaela on two projects now. She created a promotional video for our nonprofit, Many Mothers, that captured our work and voices so eloquently. Several months later we hired her again to make a fundraising video - it was a complicated project, but Kaela was a total pro who turned it into a real work of art. I'd be happy to work with and recommend Kaela anytime!
