  I used Stevens for a move from Ohio to Michigan in 2016. They stored my belongings for 3 months until I had purchased a new home. I waited almost 5 months before they located the last storage box, and they damaged just about every piece of furniture they touched! I also received bed bugs with the last truckload of my furniture. The owner promised a refund of my $6,000.00 plus fee, but that check has been in the mail since Jan. 2017. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AT WHAT THEY DO!

  We had a great experience with Stevens! They were professional, did a great job with pack and unloading our items and made the move extremely easy for a 7 month pregnant lady! I really was pleased with the driver Jason Henneman, he did a phenomenal job and kept in touch with us every step of the way! I highly Recommend them for your next move!

  I was an Agent for Steven's Van lines for 25 years before they were taken over by Wheaton Van Lines. We were let go for cause. We collected credit cards on their behalf and forwarded the money to them or waited for the month to reconcile and either get money back, or write them a check as requested. Today I received 20 calls one after another from Randyg an extremely rude individual from their collections. He stated we owed them money and that Stevens was going to call all our customers and demand they contest the credit card payments they made to us, and pay Wheaton Stevens directly. The fact is that Stevens owes us money and has invoices going back to 2018 that have not reconciled. They in fact did call a client of ours in Australia and rudely made the credit card demand. They demanded that she reverse the charges from her move from Portland to Australia which was last year in June and pay them directly or they could be held liable for the cost of the move. This falls under eligible collection practices and is completely misleading. My caution to you is be very careful of this Van Line and the unruly practices and ridicules demands they may make. Once your move is done and you have paid in good faith, that's it it's done. Don't be fooled or bullied into thinking you must meet their demands, Shame on you! Stevens used to be a reputable company, but I have to question the integrity at this point. Proceed with caution.
