  Movers On Duty definitely lived up to their reputation. Paid the price I was originally quoted, no surprise fees, no bait and switch and no third party to deal with. The entire process of my move from MD to GA was a lot easier thanks to these guys. Highly recommend!

  We had to move quickly due to a fire in our apartment building (in about 5 days) and Movers On Duty were fantastic. They took on our job on terribly short notice, were great with being responsive to my initial call and keeping me updated on their arrival, process and quote. The team of three arrived on time and they were swift with moving our things and packing what was left to pack. They moved our belongings into our new apartment with no damage to the items or the walls. We were really impressed with the efficiency and attention to care and detail in all they did (including taking our bed apart & putting it back together). All staff were in logo-ed shirts and were professional, personable and polite. All the way around, they made a stressful week less so. From the office to the on site workers, it was all good. When we move again, we'll definitely choose MOD.

  We hired these guys based on a recommendation we received from my family member who had used Movers On Duty (MOD) for their move. I am so thankful for the recommendation and for the excellent job MOD did today on our move. Paul, their office guy, who sets up the appointment for the services, is a reasonable, respectful, professional and a very patient man. I must’ve called him at least 7 times to get a quote, to discuss the price with my husband, to then calling back and finalizing the appointment. The guys on the field, who arrived on time on the moving day came prepared and ready to work. Very respectful of us, our home and our belongings. They meticulously wrapped every piece of furniture for protection, and moved everything with care and speed into the truck. They disassembled the furniture and offered to reassemble everything at the final destination. MOD had sent 6 or 7 guys for our move of a two bedroom condo on the THIRD FLOOR. These guys hustled hard hauling everything down two flights of stairs. From start to finish (empty truck to empty truck) it took four hours for them to complete the job. Well worth every penny. I hope this recommendation makes another family’s move as easy as ours.
