    My move was brokered out to Moving Depot. There was a scheduling conflict, and Sam and his team waited patiently for me to arrive (2 hours!) for the pickup, and were very professional and efficient in packing my storage unit on the truck. The customer service I received from Melissa was outstanding! She kept in contact when the truck left IL, all the way through the delivery in AL. Everything arrived in good condition, and there were no hidden or extra fees applied throughout the process. Great overall service from everyone!!

    We arranged our move with Alliance who brokered it out to Moving Depot, which we did not know they were going to do. Shame on us. Moving Depot shows up on time and does a great job packing and getting everything on the truck. First red flag- They pull out their bill of lading, pre filled in so the customer has no choice in replacement cost and have you Initial each box. I mention to Juan they scratched my office floors. He said too bad, you should have said something before we signed the paperwork. Second red flag. You have no choice, they already have all your items on their truck. Our delivery was supposed to be made on or before July 9th. They did not have a driver, so we changed the address. By changing the address even though they didn’t have a driver, it created a new contract. An additional $1440 in storage and new 1 to 30 days to deliver the items after your first available date. There were 240 items/parcels/boxes however you want to word it, we were charged for on the pick up day. They charged us an extra $1823.50. Upon delivery, only 187 items/parcels/boxes came off that truck. Immediately we noticed that almost half of the boxes were smashed/broken. Almost every piece of furniture we received was damaged or scratched, rusted, shattered or ruined. Boxes upon boxes of broken kitchen glass, dented appliances, missing kitchen boxes for sure. Almost immediately we realized that we were missing 2 - 55 “ TV’s and a 47 “ TV, 2 Dyson vacuums, a glass inset for a side table which we marked on the Bill of Lading upon deliver. When I called to report there must be some mistake and I only received a partial shipment, the response was file a claim. Not, oh I’m sorry let me look into that for you. I asked if they could look in the warehouse and try to locate the rest of the shipment, she said no you need to make a claim. I called and sent an email later in the week. It didn’t make any sense for me to file a claim before I knew the other part of the shipment might show up. Arielle asked me to send pictures of all the damage to my items to her. I don’t know why she wanted me to send the pictures if they weren’t going to do anything about it. Arielle said she forwarded my missing items list to the warehouse manager on September 17th. Since then, Tatiana told me Arielle was no longer with the company. No surprise to me cause she would hand up on my husband when he called her. Tatiana confirmed the warehouse manager received the email on September 17th. I asked if we could escalate it or find out if they have found the missing 53 boxes. Tatiana so no. File your claim. Below you will find a list of all the missing items that we know of at this point. These are the missing items I know of so far: 2 Dyson vacuums 2 55’ tvs and 2 47’ tv glass insert for side table ninja coffee pot all my coffee cups 2 lunch boxes bedding for King Bed 2 huge gray lamps and shades 5 laundry baskets grays rugs (2) all my brooms and mops cleaning supplies and carriers 2 squeegees for the bathroom brown ottoman with storage popcorn bowls all the cups, holders for 3 bathrooms, garbage cans 5 big blacks shelves 21 clamps for the shelves 3 fishing reels 2 fishing poles Serving platters Additional pots and pans 2 sets of jumper cables Moving Depot, Moving Depot USA, Moving Depot LLC, whichever one you want to pick either way over charged us on the Bill of Lading or they have 53 of our items/parcels/boxes. After filing the claim, they wanted to pay us $127.

    Moving Depot did a wonderful job with our move. They communicated with us in advance, they came on time and handled our furniture with such care. They were friendly and a pleasure to work with. Great job moving depot! I would recommend them to anyone.
