  I'm not one to be extreme, but I would never hire this moving company again or recommend them to anyone. They damaged multiple pieces of our furniture. After the move was complete, I noticed the movers arranged the furniture in an odd fashion in our house, like facing backwards up against walls. I realized later it was because they knew they had damaged our furniture and didn’t want me to see it until after they had left. With the way the furniture was arranged, there was no way I would have been able to go around and properly survey the condition of these pieces of furniture, and they 100% knew that. So shady. Then as they were leaving, they informed me for the first time that there was a credit card charge of over $30 if I chose to use a card to pay for the move. Otherwise, I could pay with a check and wouldn’t be charged the fee. There was no indication of this “policy” mentioned to me prior to moving. Additionally, their website stated that the move could be paid for with cash, credit or debit. The website mentioned nothing about a credit card fee. Interesting how this “fee” was sprung on me right after the move was completed, when I could not locate my checkbook because it’s 2021 and my checkbook is packed away in a box. They also charged us for “packing materials” that they used – i.e. tape to tape the furniture drawers closed. This was also not mentioned anywhere in their company policy or stated to me beforehand or included on the quote. The tape they used ripped off wood stain from several pieces of furniture so do not expect their packing materials to be of quality. I called the company after the movers departed and left several messages. I also texted them. No response. I sent an email and heard back from AJ that their phone had not been working. I appreciated that he emailed me back right away and agreed to refund the credit card fee and the packing material fee, however, after three weeks, I still have not been issued a refund and in the past several days AJ has not responded to my follow up emails. I’ve never reported an “organization” to the Better Business Bureau or disputed charges with my credit card company before but I guess there’s a first time for everything because that's my next step.

  New Age Movers was great! They communicated the entire time and were very sensitive and understanding to my situation. Dennis was assertive and a pleasure to work with! He definitely knew how to maneuver all my stuff to maximize space! AJ demonstrated great customer service and definitely values his customers and their opinions! Will definitely use them again!

  I started the process with Kevin in sales. Kevin and worked with me to get an out of state move completed. They went above and beyond to meet an aggressive deadline for an emergency move! He was extremely professional and kept in good communication! He assigned Dennis and Wilfredo perform the move for us. They contacted me the day of the move to let me know they were on there way. They showed up right on time and were VERY polite professional. They went above and beyond the call of duty to assist with a unique move! They took great acre of our stuff when moving it and even made multiple stops for us! They are both VERY hard workers and appreciate everything they did! I strongly recommend them for anything you need!
