  My headquarters office relocated to Cherry Hill, New Jersey and I was offered to move. I had to find long distance movers quickly as my vacation was coming up and I had a bunch of plans. As I started my search for a long distance moving company, I realized that there are hundreds if not thousands of companies around, which makes it harder to find the right one. I contacted Local and Long Distance Moving Group and scheduled an appointment for the visual estimate as well as with two other companies. As I read the suggestions online, I knew that I should get 2-3 quotes to compare. Visual Inspection took about 30-40 min, and step by step i was explained the process of how my move will be done. Two other companies performed their inspection pretty much the same way but the quotes they offered didn't include cost of the packing of my belongings. As I read online the cost of the packing can easily double or triple. When moving company comes to pick up your stuff and at the end of the job they surprise you with the amount that is twice or three times more than you initially agreed on, that is simply scary. Local and Long Distance Group offered all inclusive quote and all the packing costs including the relocation costs were disclosed to me up front. The only thing that was not included was possible stairs and/or long walk at the unloading location, which I can understand. The team of movers came to pick up my stuff on June 9, and it was delivered to me on July 1, as we initially scheduled. All my belongings arrived safe and sound, and I highly recommend these guys!

  Bad move Avoid! Because they were the worst movers. Slow. Move for 1 bedroom apartment took 8 hours! They literally would disappear into the truck for 20 minutes till we came out and looked for them. They tried to "wrap" boxes!! boxes don't need to be wrapped! They were careless. 3 walls damaged at new house!!! Crazy. And still billed us through the roof. Avoid.
