  We booked them to move us and confirmed with them numerous times that they would be there between 8:00-9:00am. They never showed up having multiple excuses not being able to move us from being overbooked, truck broke down, couldn’t get gas. They was very unprofessional never returning our calls and let us in a terrible position having to be out of our house for a walk through and closing of the sale of our home. Never would recommend them!

  Patterson moving was fantastic. They moved me from Virginia to Pennsylvania for the lowest price I was able to find and came in right on the quote they provided. They were on-time, friendly, professional, and efficient. The only reason this isn't a five-star review is that they did ding one piece of furniture and lost the pegs to hold the shelves in place on a bookcase, which would have rendered it unusable if we hadn't been handy enough to fix it ourselves. Still, I would not hesitate to book them again for a future move!

  I wish I had read some of the reviews before going with this company. We chose Patterson Moving based on recommendations from friends. They had good experiences. Here's how our experience went on July 29, 2021: One of the guys told my fiancé that the cost was $170 per hour. There was also a $100 booking fee. We agreed to those terms. Based on the 8-hour job with the booking fee, we were looking at $1460. And it wasn't technically 8 hours, because they took 45 minutes for lunch. The movers damaged several pieces of our furniture - dropped drawers, scratches in our headboard, a broken wheel on one of our kitchen carts which rendered it unusable, scratches all over our dining room table, scratches on chairs, the list continues. They were only willing to wave the $100 booking fee and at the end of a grueling day, we didn't want to argue. So we agreed to $1360. Then when my fiancé got his checkbook out, the guy said, "My boss prefers a credit card, is that okay?" He was on the phone with his boss and relayed this to us. So my fiancé agreed, gave the credit card info over the phone, and then this morning, we saw that they OVERCHARGED us. This company is extremely shady. We were dumb for agreeing to pay with a credit card over the phone, but a verbal agreement was, in fact, made regarding the price and by overcharging us, this company literally stole from us. This was a horrible experience. If you are considering using this company, please reconsider, especially if you have valuable furniture.
