  ZERO STARS. We hired Peninsula Transfer Moving for our move from Door County WI to Seattle WA. They arrived unprepared for the job (did not enough boxes or packing material and spend hours trying to find more materials), could not commit to their initial time frame stating after we had an agreement that they did not have anyone who could drive to WA state. They still have not delivered our things more than 2 weeks after initial time frame. We have had to constantly contact them for a time frame and receive almost no information. We have moved cross country several time and this is by far the worst experience with movers we have encountered. Peninsula Transfer lacks an ability to provide a commitment to their time frames, and has terrible follow through and worse customer service. Their claims department and moving service cannot even agree on who is responsible for what commitment that was made to the customer and reimbursement of cost. I would strongly advise against using this company. They have wasted our money and time.

  These guys were great! The office staff is friendly and helpful. They came in way under the estimate because our movers hustled. The guys were friendly, helpful and careful with our possessions. I'd recommend them!

  We moved from the Milwaukee area to Door County. Stevens' moving staff on the Milwaukee end did not explain the inventory sheets to us. We thought they were just catalogging and counting items and where they would be placed. When we arrived in Door Co, we found out that they had also given ratings to most of our furnishings as being in "poor" condition! This rating seems to me to indicate our furniture was in a battered condition! Our furnishings, some antiques and from higher end furniture stores, were absolutely in good if not excellent condition. I have moved several times in the last 25 years and this type of process had never occurred. So be sure to check what the movers are writing before you close the door!
