I may update if my trip gets better. They wouldn't let me tow my vehicle or trailer it. My car was "too heavy." Too heavy?!! I could understand the wheel base is too long or the axle needs to be disengaged, but too heavy for a truck! I can tow a house with my Ford p/u but I can't tow my mini van with a Penske. Update: In response to Penske's response - yes, that is exactly my point. The equipment does not have the torque to pull a minivan. It also does not get 10 mpg or have a side step to get up in the cab. They don't rent a dolly, hand truck or a furniture dolly (Google search to view the difference). They offer an appliance dolly. A big, bulky, heavy, dolly with a short foot. That once loaded with a stack of boxes, must lean back into you inorder to stay on. And all that weight is impossible to pull up the extremely short, steep ramp that the Penske truck offers, solo. Most items we had to lift, one at a time, into the truck. And thank goodness we didn't have much, because the trucks cargo box is very short. The cubic feet is much smaller than others in it's size. I will update more when our trip is over.

As usual Penske personal department are top notch, I was located in Kadoka SD, I STOP to fuel and came to find out I had by some unknown circumstance had blown a outside rear tire on my trailer, the only thing left was two sidewalls, I contacted road service and as it should be they went into protect our client mode, to make a long story short Penske did what was expected of them and got me back on the road making money, i was in the middle of NOWHERE, and Penske pop that BOTTLE and got me moving ASAP, like i said (PENSKE IS THE BIG DOGS OF THE CLASS 8 TRUCK RENTAL INDUSTRY AND THATS A FACT.
