  If you're looking for ease of use, highly recommended! If you're looking on a budget, I'd consider something else. Moving from Michigan to Florida initial cost was $4-5k and for storage it was like $350 a month. 100% worth it if you can afford it. *Edited I didn't mean to says this was a ridiculous price. I researched lots of places and all of them were very expensive to move so far; pods being one of the more expensive. For the customer service, ease of delivery I'd highly recommend them over cheaper places if you're doing a straight drop. The $350 storage price was the only thing that was too expensive in my mind.

  Pods really went up and above to get our pod delivered to our new home. Ed their driver worked his day off just so we could get our pod delivered. From Mike the manager to all his staff we are truly grateful.

  PODS needs more drivers. I had 2 final pick-up appointments that were missed with no explanation. Full POD was put in a bad spot. I asked the driver to reposition but he groused at me, so I let it go. My pick-up appointment was only 2 days away - I figured we could deal with it. But then they missed that appointment and then another after that! My 82 year old mother could not easily get out for 2 solid weeks to go to church or get groceries. PODs customer service could not even reach the local dispatch to figure out why they weren't coming as scheduled. We felt totally helpless. We weren't allowed to touch this container or pay the damage, BUT they would not come and get this thing. We were totally TRAPPED. The other issue was that it took so long for the POD to be transported to Florida, and then delivered to final location, they charged me another 30 days ($300+). Those delivery timelines were not MY choosing, but PODS inability to deliver it faster to me. Why should I pay an additional $300 because PODS takes THREE WEEKS to get it to its final destination?? (from Michigan to Florida). Finally, they enter a credit card upon initial sale so they can be sure to auto bill you along the way. They tell you to create an account so you can control things online. HOWEVER, I wanted to change the card on file, and could NOT do so. I had to spend an hour with customer service on the phone, and even then, they couldn't remove my first card - but only add another and make it my primary. I wanted a way to REMOVE my card altogether when my experience was done, so they could not auto bill me by error, or for any other reason. I should have the ability to add or remove credit cards at will via online account. Ridiculous. My first experience with PODS was back in 2009 and it was very good. This was horrific. Unfortunately, I will not likely use them again after this nightmare.
