  PODS has been great. They were less expensive than U-Haul and way more convenient. The drivers are amazing. Al in NY got the pod in and out of a tight spot and Justin W in FL maneuvered the pod into perfect spot still leaving room for the cars. He even made sure we were able to open the door before he left. It's a good thing he did too, because I didn't strap the mattress in tight enough and it shifted a bit against the door!

  The process, for us, of renting a storage unit from PODS was exceptionally easy. From making the reservation online, all the way through to having it picked up was very streamlined. Joe, who dropped the unit off in our yard was great about communicating when exactly he would arrive and he was very skillful in driving and maneuvering the drop off. Justin, who picked the unit up when we were finished with it was also a great communicator and let us know each step of the process on the day of the pick up, as we were not able to be home at that time. My only negative comment is about the pricing structure. I realize that this is considered a monthly rental, but it would have made the experience completely satisfying if we could have been charged only for the actual time of the rental. We ended up only needing the unit for 5 weeks, but had to pay for 2 full month’s rental.

  We had our pod in storage for a few months while we found our new place. This morning we had it delivered, Joe was hands down the most flexible and nicest guy! We live on a weird corner with no technical “driveway” and he maneuvered the placement perfectly and so quickly. He was in awesome spirits for it being 7am sharp that’s for sure! I felt really bad because I understand how difficult it can be to maneuver those trucks in order to get the Pod off safely and efficiently and Joe made it look like a piece of cake. He stuck around to open up the pod with us to ensure everything was safe and sound, and it was exactly how we packed it 2 months ago. I wish i could give 6 stars! :)
