My experience with PODS has been terrible. First, my PODS delivery to customer was dropped in the wrong location, even after communicating to the driver over the phone where to specifically place the container and where it could not be placed. The storage unit where my property had been stored promptly fined me for having the container placed in the wrong location, as it was blocking others from moving in/out. I called to get the local PODS team to move it, who noted it could not be moved until the day of scheduled pickup, and additionally, they wanted to charge a fee to do it - even after putting it in the wrong location. Next, I scheduled the delivery of the PODS unit to TX over the phone with a representative for April 12-14th. I live in an apartment complex where the unit will need to be kept in street parking. Therefore, I've had to work with the city of Austin to book out a parking spot for a few days to unload for $250. After all this, only to find out, PODS never scheduled my delivery (after calling to confirm yesterday morning) and my container is still in Atlanta- they didn't even know where it was! The agent had to call both TX and GA facilities to find out. Terrifying right? I had to call multiple times as agents kept hanging up. Additionally, I was not permitted to speak to a manager or supervisor, even after the many mishaps by your team. So, now I'm living without any of my essentials for 10 days and have resubmit another right of way permit/pay for the fees again.

PODS is the best moving experience I have had after moving over 5 times in the last 4 years. After getting frustrated with U-Hauls horrible customer service I figured it was worth the price increase to fill up a POD and have it driven and delivered to where I needed it to go. I will never use a different moving company again for long distance. The process was easy, the customer service was fantastic, the only account interface was simple to navigate and provided updates throughout the entire process. All of my belongings were exactly as I'd left them - which tells me that your belongings are treated with caution while with this service. Overall a fantastic experience.

Do not do business with this company. They do not deliver as promised. My pod never showed up, they never called, I wasted all day waiting for them. Now they want to charge me a cancellation fee for a POD that was never delivered. The people on the chat line are the rudest and most unhelpful and disrespectful people. I spent 3 hours on the phone and kept getting promises the pod was on the way and it never happened. I will never use this company again.
