  Pods Of Deceiving Sizes. That is what PODS really stands for. For starters when they say they give you an 8 by 8 by 16 you are really getting a 7 by 7 by 15 interior dimensions. Come to your own conclusions on that deceive deception. Everything started off fine other than the deceiving advertised size of the pod. Delivery was prompt and organized and timely when loading the pods but unloading the Pods at the Final Destination and organizing delivery and pickup was a natural disaster. If you think you are going to get a discount on having more than one pod being delivered to the same destination you better think again. I for example had 3 pods going to the exact same destination at the exact same time but I still got charged individually priced per pod. I can't begin to tell you how much of a disaster the Final Destination was and the organization was just a cluster. Such a huge inconvenience and scheduling conflict on their part made it damn near impossible to organize movers and anything else when accepting the pods to be unloaded. You also better pay close attention to your final bill because I am already getting charged way more than what I was told I was going to be charged. Watch your bank account and statements. In closing I would highly suggest on finding alternative ways to move. I hope this helps future Movers to Choose Wisely and do your homework. Also put into the fact that you will never deal directly with the individual location closest to you everything goes through a call center in Clearwater Florida. That made it even worse and every time you call you get somebody new and have to start the process of explaining everything over again.

  I was finished with the POD way ahead of time (I only needed the POD for a week). I contacted PODS to see when they could pick up the POD. The only date they could give me was 30 days out. Even though they didn't charge me for the extra time, it still sat in my driveway for another 30 days, blocking access to my garage. Then they charged me for pick up. I did an telephone survey about my PODS experience as well. The phone rep said the district manager should have been contacted. To my knowledge the manager was not, nor have I received a phone call from the manager. Other than that the POD was clean, and professionally delivered and picked up. Both drivers were very nice. personable and had great skills in placing the container. If you can self store. I'd pick that option.

  PODS was awesome to work with and made our move SO much easier than renting a truck and a storage locker(s). Everyone we dealt with over the phone and in person was highly professional and friendly! Would highly recommend!!
