  Despite the pushy phone quote sales experience and the fact that delivery was impossible on Wednesdays at one end of our move. (Really? Wednesday?) it was a painless and convenient experience. We'd use them again if we were to move again.

  We moved cross country with PODS. Had a decent experience on initial drop-off, filled the POD, and then they picked up. A week later, we drove 48 hours to our new house in St. Johns county, only to show up with our POD sitting in our next-door neighbors' driveway. An immediate call to PODS said that they can move the POD in three days, but no sooner. Our new neighbor, who was unable to get his car in and out of his driveway (in a neighborhood where parking on the street is frowned upon), was obviously upset. We emptied the POD from out neighbors driveway, and sure enough, they came three days later to pick up the container. It has been three months now, and the "resolution specialist" has continued to not respond to emails and phone calls. How hard is it to drop a giant 16ft. box at the correct address? How hard is it, when you make a giant mistake, to try to make right of a situation? Customer service at PODS is non-existent, and I would encourage you to look elsewhere for your moving and storage needs.

  Pod never arrived on scheduled date and we received no call about it. WE had to call and even then it was scheduled for the wrong time so we had to call again and then they arrived late while we had movers waiting to pack the pod. Ended up having to pack the pod last minute 1 day before moving out of state and even though THEY were responsible for delivering the pod one day late they still picked it up on the same day it was originally scheduled for instead of giving us an extra day so we could have the 3 standard packing days they supposedly offer. And all we got for the trouble was $25 off of a $3000 total bill. The redelivery of the pods went smoothly but the whole fiasco at the begining added a lot of stress to an already stressful move. Would never use them again.
