  I love using Pods. This is probably the most effective and reasonably priced solution for moving. Not only did the Pod eliminate any worry about a moving company telling me my charges would be higher due to the weight of my furniture on a truck, but it eliminates the possibility of my stuff getting lost on stolen on a moving truck. I used two Pods to move 98% of my furniture from a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home. I had lots of Halloween and Christmas decorations that I moved in addition to two living room sets, 2 bedroom sets, 1 dining room set, and office furniture. So far, everything in the first Pod shipped with zero damage. The second Pod arrived today, but I was unable to open the door. It's possible that things moved around. I called Pods and they are sending someone out to assist me with opening the door to the Pod. I am crossing my fingers that we can get it open without damaging anything.

  I used PODs twice in the past.. 1st time was great, moved from Vegas to New York. Second time the container was dirty, I asked for the newer containers at time of order they assured me that I would get exactly that, but instead I got an ANT and Spider infested container! I had to clean it out, bug spray it, because when I called them to have it replaced, they said someone will call you.. but guess what happened, NOBODY calls. They make excuses about someone reaching out and nobody ever does. I was going to give them a chance again since the 1st time was good and I am moving again, but when I call them, they quote an insane price of like $6400 taxes and all, but when the quote comes through it says, "Your total estimated moving price listed below excludes all applicable taxes and is based on the date(s), months of storage, and location(s) you provided. Your final price will be confirmed when you place your order." So they lied about that for sure. They seemed to have dropped in quality a lot and it is very sad. I am still waiting for the complaint and compensation from my previous experience, but nobody wants to return my call. I might take them to small claims court because they screwed up a few times now and caused me issues.

  Chart required at time of booking was not followed and I was charged an unnecessary repositiong fee. When I called for resolution I was told I needed to speak w the managing office and that he would be sent a message but never received a call back or resolution. Received a text for redelivery that I would not need to be present but When delivering to my new address the driver kept insisting that he couldn’t deliver and I would have to reschedule if I couldn’t be present. Fine container but garbage service and whatever your quote is, estimate for about 50%more in arbitrary costs
