  The PODS service is well run and the drivers ensure they will not introduce any harm to your property and belongings when picking up and dropping off your container. If you are going to hire professionals to move your belongings, I recommend hiring a moving company versus the vendor service offered through PODS. I was underwhelmed with the loading and especially the unloading of my items when I used the referral service on the PODS site.

  my initial contact with PODS was fantastic. Sales were very helpful and drivers were very professional. however, they were clearly having some issues with their warehouse. For the final pick up of my empty container, they missed two pick up dates. Chat feature was disabled on the website, so I had to call each time with an almost hour long hold time. I spoke with a rude Rep who explained to me that ETA meant "estimated" time of arrival. Just a little condescending, but thanks for that explanation (dripping with sarcasm). She informed me that it was scheduled and the driver was still on their way, and they were not required to inform me if the driver was running late. It was after 8PM and pitch black outside, there was no way they would be able to hook up and maneuver the POD. This happened again the next day (Saturday) with a full no show and no call. Monday morning the driver arrives moments after the portal updates the pick up date and we are already on hold for half an hour wondering when they would actually be picking up the POD. I was very disappointed by the final interaction considering all of my prior interactions went so well. You would think that after making 4 calls and speaking with 2 reps I would have received a call back, but I did not. Very disappointing.

  Stored items moved from East to West Coast was done in a timely manner, at a decent cost. Everything arrived and in just the condition in which they were packed. Drivers were all courteous and friendly.
