  Practical movers was awesome! Love that I paid a flat rate and didn't have to worry about movers taking too much time loading my items. They made sure my furniture was not damaged taking their time loading and unloading. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

  How can I sum this up in a few short words?? Total nightmare!!! Let me start by saying that I accommodated the movers in every way possible! 1st in the middle of my move, they had an “emergency move” (which I have never heard of)and left my stuff and came back the next day. But before leaving the owner requested that I pay him in cash so that he can pay his help. His “policy” is 50% deposit and the rest when the move is completed. But obviously not the case. Then when he came back the next day, I asked if there was an aspect of his company that handled unpacking, he said yes. This is what really happened. He posted an add on Facebook, and the help that he hired was less than experienced. They shoved all of my kitchen items into 2 cabinets when my kitchen has 20 available cabinets. Left the futon frame in the middle of the kitchen floor and put the mattress on the floor. Never put the couch or coffee/end tables where they belonged, broke my desk, hid trash in the closet where the washer/dryer belongs. Long story short, they turned a beautiful upscale apartment into a filthy ghetto slum. The only way to fix it was to empty everything out and start all over. Be careful of the price...it’s attractive, but you truly get what you pay for and worse!! Oh and I almost forgot.. parts to my espresso machine were found in the refrigerator and fresh produce in the freezer. This is beyond different standards of living...in this case I don’t believe that they have any standards. That can be proven by the unprofessional way that the owner continuously hit on me, knowing that I’m engaged, my fiancé and I live together and still he continued to disrespect our home, and then asked if he could “shoot a video” in our new home. No standards smh

  We are sorry you had a bad experience. In our defense, you had 3 times as much items as you originally were quoted for but that didn’t stop us from completing the task and even sacrificing another days work to come back and complete your relocation. As the guys arrived, nothing was prepared or packed and you told our company last minute you required packing services. Packing is usually performed prior to the move to make the moving process smoother on the actual moving day. In this case you didn’t mention this requirement until after the move already began. That isn’t the proper order of things to be done smoothly. Also your demeanor towards the guys was condenscending as if no length they went to accommodate you was enough. Our company was underpaid and mistreated for this relocation. We wish you the best and hope you have a more pleasant experience with whatever company you choose for any future relocations.
