I originally started out giving the team 5 stars because Devon and his crew went above and beyond to staff the job with extra crew. Everyone was professional and took care our items. Here is a summary of my experience: 1. The first red 🚩was when several items were left behind and I was asked to pack the rest on my own. I let it go because I was under the impression that it was just things on the countertop that were left over. At the time of departure from my old home to the new home, I had no idea that things had been left in the living room, kitchen, dining room, office, laundry room, and upstairs (see photos). They had run out of truck space and decided not to return to retrieve the items. 2. The wall was damaged by the movers (see photo). In other circumstances, I would have been more lenient, but the house is set to be closed on and the last thing that I needed was damage to the property. My husband approached both Devon and his partner about the damage and they both said that they would come back to repair it. Devon and I agreed to return to the property on Sunday around 2pm. 3. The young men that did the vast majority of the moving were top notch! They worked efficiently as a team, were incredibly respectful, and a pleasure to work with. However, it is important to ensure that your crew doesn't show up wreaking of marijuana. For those of us with careers, we can not be associated with those substances. Furthermore, it is never OK to smoke on the property without permission from the owner. Devon should remind his team to be respectful of other's homes and not use illicit substances during a job. 4. Devon and I spoke around 230p on Sunday regarding the repair. After multiple calls and waiting several hours for their arrival, they finally arrived to fix the damaged wall. They entered the home without speaking to me at all. When I came out of the back, I spoke and Devon spoke back. His partner (light skinned guy) didn't speak nor acknowledge my presence despite being in MY home. He never once spoke to me, looked at me, or addressed me regarding the follow-up required once the repair was done. Devon was EXTREMELY respectful when he told me that the stuff was still wet and that I would either need to apply a second layer or paint. In the big scheme of things, no big deal, but in this situation, I shouldn't have had to repair or paint anything. 5. I gave constructive feedback to Devon about the missing screws for the dresser mirror, damaged property, disassembled furniture, and the leftover items in the home. He justified the incomplete job by stating "I didn't have any more room in my truck. It seems like those things are irreplaceable so I didn't want to take a chance with it getting broken." I appreciate the sentiments, but that is what I pay movers for. To move ALL of my stuff in a safe manner. 6. Devon's partner (light skinned guy) accidently left the TV mount at the home and they had to go back to get it and the second TV that was left behind. That was a great opportunity for them to pick up all of the items that they left behind. That did not happen. 7. I was reminded that I was misquoted and undercharged for the service. I was told "I didn't make any money off of this move at all." While, I empathize with a perceived notion of losing money, I had to move the rest of the house alone because the job was not done nor was it ever offered to remedy this concern. My intent was to provide positive and constructive criticism when I gave the 4 star revised rating, but after reflecting on the service, it was really 2.5, but I will round up to a 3. Devon and his crew (minus the light skinned dude) were very polite. They are hard workers and I do believe that they work hard. However, when a customer pays $1500+ for a service, the job HAS to be complete. The other part is that Devon needs to talk to his partner. It is NEVER OK to disrespect ANYONE in their home by not speaking or ignoring them because you are mad about the 4 star rating. Well, now we are down to a 3.

      Response from the owner

I apologize for any type of disagreement or miscommunication. But I truly think this is an unfair review. First off we did have a accident where a person in the crew damaged the wall and we came out on a Sunday to fix it like we said we would. Also we agreed and she paid for certain things to be packed by us which evey item you asked us to pack we did the items on the kitchen counter was not apart of the deal and even though they were not I specifically asked you about the items and you told me to leave them. We truly went over and beyond we even unmounted tvs at no additional cost brought additional packing materials for items that were not listed to go and had a very professional attitude the whole time because we take pride in what we do.

10/10 the crew was quick, respectful, knowledgeable and worked well together. They took extra care with items that needed it and asked questions instead of assuming. They unloaded our storage, packed in their truck and unloaded it In our new home. Putting everything in the rooms they needed to go in. Everyone was super friendly the entire time. Will recommend them to anyone I know looking for movers. Affordable and worth every penny. Thank you!
