  If it was possible for me to give negative stars, I would. I have moved several times in my adult life and in all the different ways. I know what to expect when moving, whether on my own, or if paying someone else to do it for me. I know there are delays, and that sometimes there may be even a little damage. Providence and the other company they contracted my move with (CR7 - who will get this same review) were the worst I have ever witnessed. I've added a few pics here to show you what I received. Aside from being misquoted 3 separate times, and ended up paying over 12K for a move from VA to NV for 900 square feet of items, they also did not wrap my items, or pack them in a secure way. The pictures provided are literally what I saw upon opening the boxes. They wrapped my furniture in 1 layer of a trash bag... a literal trash bag. They wrapped my two of my computer monitors screen to screen in a moving blanket... no box, no wrapping, no padding. All of my cords to my TV and monitors are MIA, and they all have damage on the casings and the screens. I emailed the companies a day after my items were delivered and I have still not received a response. It has been 9 days. BEWARE!

  It is hard to find movers who enjoy their jobs these days- not to talk of those who also let you enjoy the move. However, I found them in Providence van lines. My last move with this moving company was unimaginable. I thought I would have the same odd experience I have with other moving companies but this time around it was a fun-filled and interesting move. There were many things wonderful about movers from this company but I was particularly amazed at the level of courtesy they demonstrated. As a matter of fact, I have never seen such courtesy in moving service and that is why I praise them for their services. I thank you guys for making my move one-of-a-kind and exceptional. I will hire you guys again.

  The move went AMAZING!! providence van lines packed up our entire 4 bedroom house that had tons of stuff!! They moved it to a new house a mile away. They came prepared with all the moving materials. They wrapped the glass items and dishes very well. They worked very carefully packing and moving, making sure nothing got damaged. They handled the furniture as if it was their own. The owner was on the job. He and his workers were extremely polite and pleasant to be around. The workers worked quickly and carefully NONSTOP until the entire move was completed. I was very happy with this company's PROFESSIONAL service. They took care of everything. I didn't have to do a thing. I will most definitely be using them again in the future. Thank you providence van lines for that wonderful stress-free experience!! You guys are the best!!
