  We moved from Albuquerque New Mexico to Melbourne Australia in November 2021. Mark and his team from Rainier and the local office, Apaca (New Mexico), were so courteous, patient, informative and gave us much needed peace of mind given that our move happened in such tumultuous global circumstances that directly impacted the shipping world. Mark was very clear on pricing, there were no surprises there, the movers in New Mexico were very dedicated and made sure that our things and precious belongings were safely packed and secured. We were given updates throughout the entire journey and were offered lots of answers when we had questions. And I am happy (and grateful) to say that our things arrived on time and unscathed. I cannot recommend Mark and Rainier enough. We will definitely be using their services again if we ever move back to the US, I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

  This is the second time I used Raineir for relocation (the previous time was 9 years ago). Mark was great and very professional in both times, making sure every part of the shipping (packing, transit to the movers facility, stacking in crates, stacking in a container, over seas shipping and movers in the new location) goes as well as possible. My personal belief is that a quality of a company or person is measured when things do not go as expected. In my case, the movers who came to pick up our stuff did not come fully prepared. Mark made sure everything goes well, and was in constant contact with them until they stacked all the boxes at their location and put them in a container. He followed up and kept me posted on every stage and compensated me for the experience I had with the movers. Their prices seem to be reasonable. A company you can trust!

  We had a completely hassle & problem free experience with Rainier Overseas Movers. They relocated our household possessions from Germany to Oregon, and I was a little nervous, having never done an international move before. During the estimate gathering process, Dave Wiviott provided the information we needed without any “used car salesman schmooziness”. He is competent & knowledgeable and made recommendations that in the end probably saved us a lot of out of pocket expenses due to the shipping slow down. He made it clear which forms we had to fill out & how, and gave us the information we needed to make informed choices about the options that we had. Their estimate was not the lowest, but it was on the less expensive side, and in retrospect, due to shipping conditions, was probably the best price. However, we hired them based on our impression of Dave’s competence, not the price. The movers that Rainier contracted on both ends of the move were also competent & professional. Also, despite the shipping mess at the time, our belongings arrived in a reasonable amount of time, earlier than we feared, considering the conditions. It was 100% a positive experience.
