What a treasure this museum is for Belleville, Kansas. There are many unique items to view. We enjoyed over 2 hours of viewing exquisite furnishings, artwork, and other items long forgotten. Should you be in the area, be sure to stop by. The museum director, Ed Glen, will give you a tour and answer any questions.

Very well done a lot of things to see. Very low admission$ 3.00 for adults I ENJOY the naive stone smoke house. A lot of things did not seem old to me at first. Then I got my smartphone out an did the math and found out I am a babyboumer Thanks for the memories.

My grandmother was born in Belleville in 1894 and I've long wanted to come see where she lived as a child. My wife and I visited the museum this past Monday, searching to find some family history and just to see what we could see about life in Belleville 100 plus years ago. We were really thrilled to find all the information available, and greatly impressed with Amy -- the wonderful lady who took us around and helped us in our search of available records. I don't know what she's being paid, but she deserves a raise -- "she's a keeper" Thanks for a great day and a wonderful experience.
