  Movers were adequate and very nice however they spoke Russian & it was hard to communicate. They also forgot to assemble the fridge doors and we didn't notice until they left, so we called the movers right away (within 1 hour of their departure) but they explained we needed to go through the front office he said they could send someone the next day. so we called the front office and they said write an email, so we did that, no answer. Then we called again and they said they're booked for 2 weeks and wanted to charge a fee for someone to come out. Terrible. Ikea closet doors were installed incorrectly as well but we were able to fix that, unfortunately we don't have the tools to assemble the fridge doors and now we are stuck. I would definitely go with a different company next time. Plus the owners on here responding to each bad review with an attitude. Imagine working with this guy.

  I scheduled a move for this last Saturday and everything was great, the the team was awesome, i believe the team members name was Sasha who did the moving. They moved all my stuff no problem, but there was some deconstruction and reconstruction involved in moving a fridge and a large Ikea cabinet. One we got to the new place, they moved everything into place but forgot to completely reinstall the fridge doors and they improperly installed the sliding doors on the Ikea cabinet. I called the movers later on in the day to let them know there was an issue and was directed to call the main line, which i did on the following Sunday morning and was told to email over photos as there "are no managers in on Sundays". I did email my stuff and did not receive a response. When i called back today to follow up i spoke with a representative, John, who spoke over me various times like i was a child, and i was told i would have to schedule it for 2 weeks out and would have to pay for additional work. When i told them that this was unfair as they had deconstructed these items themselves, and they did not reinstall them correctly. The representative told me that based on the walk through, everything was approved, but those fridge doors were never reviewed. AGAIN, the movers were great, but this management sucks. I recommend exercising caution when hiring these movers, and make sure to request someone who speaks your language, as they sent over movers who spoke Russian and very little English.

  My boyfriend and I just did an epic move that involved 3 different move days from 3 different locations (West Hollywood, North Hollywood, and Santa Clarita) and 3 different groups of movers who worked for SCV Moving based in Santa Clarita. In each case, the movers were very punctual, showing up right at the start of their arrival time window or 10 minutes after. All staff members were professional, courteous, and extremely hard working. They come with all dollies, blankets, plastic wrap, and tape in hand. They provide wardrobe boxes, so you don't have to worry about packing up your clothes on hangers. They were all very careful with some of my prized possessions, such as expensive wine bottles that have been cellared for over a decade, a piano that had to be brought up two flights of stairs, my departed grandmother's painting - you get the idea. In leaving this review, I want it noted that this review isn't just based on one experience with this moving company, or just one group of employees. It's about the company as a whole and at least 10 staff members who are all exceptional. You can put your trust in SCV Movers because I did for 3 different moves in a week and a half, and I'm so happy I did! What a great moving company. Thank you to all the staff who worked tirelessly to get me moved in to my new digs in Santa Clarita!
