  Reserved a 5x10 storage unit the night of 03/06. Received confirmation information and email. Came into the facility on 03/07 to pay for reservation. Was told that there were no 5x10 units available even though I had reserved one. Will not attempt to do business with the facility again. Zero stars but unfortunately have to put one for this to post

  I would like to add an update here that I reached out to the response comment below and have heard absolutely nothing after the initial email response from them asking which facility I used. Stay far away from this place!!!!! Unfortunately I cannot say anything positive about this company. We paid for climate controlled space while we were building a home and lost nearly everything we put in the units due to extreme mold and mice. We are talking mold that turned our brown leather sofa green and mice that chewed through rugs and taxidermy. We would have been money ahead to throw everything away versus store it. To date, we have gotten absolutely no reimbursement for the nearly total loss of all the contents in the two units we rented for nearly five years. We have been told that this issue, “shouldn’t have happened”, which we whole heartedly agree with! Stay far away, as they take no accountability for ruining your stored contents.

  I have been renting a storage unit at Self Storage Plus (formerly Lock it up Storage) for a number of years now. I rent a climate controlled storage unit. This year they have increased the rental fee by 24.55% and now ask that I provide proof of insurance on the items I am storing in the unit. As a home owner in King George I have home owners insurance that covers my items in storage. I have yet to see their proof of insurance on the facility. But I get a nice email from them (annually) requesting that I prove I have insurance or they will purchase it for me. I guess the 24.55% increase in rental covers the email notifications.
