  I worked with Kamran & Reda who is Management & Safety Directors for Shama Express who were both great to work with overall. During our time spent together they were focused on innovating their company to improve equipment to help driver satisfaction and improve overall company safety. They were also committed to using and improving telematics systems and implementing different programs to streamline their business analytics capabilities which is awesome and exciting to see from Transportation companies in the industry. Hats off to them for moving their business forward in the right direction!

  On the afternoon of Thursday, September 2nd, we were driving south on Highway 93 through Nevada, near the Pahranagat area. We had a semi truck ahead of us and one the Shama Express trucks (license plate number TRG 3458) was travelling behind us. The driver of the Shama Express truck tried to overtake both vehicles over a solid double-line, and was forced to fall back when he saw oncoming traffic. A short while later, he did actually overtake both our car and the semi truck ahead of us. This time, he paid no attention to the oncoming traffic. A woman in the vehicle in the oncoming lane was forced to swerve her car off the road entirely and onto the dirt because she would have been killed in a head-on collision at high speed with the Shama Express truck. The driver of the truck did not even slow down or make any attempt to avoid the collision, even when it was obvious he was going to hit oncoming traffic. His complete disregard for the lives of his fellow road users is disgusting and someone like that should never be driving a dangerous vehicle like a truck. Unfortunately, despite many attempts to get the organization to respond to my complaint, it looks like this kind of behavior is not only tolerated but condoned by Shama Express

The Safety Manager has been informed regarding this matter. Please be sure that we will take all the necessary actions to address this issue as well as prevent it from happening again!
