    Please do NOT use this company. The company lost all of our boxes (34 total) and has not attempted to offer us any kind of compensation. They do not know where our belongings are, and have not contacted us since October of last year (our things were initially picked up on July 27th, 2021). Here is a summary of our experience: — Contacted Ship Smart to move studio’s worth of boxes (34), a couch, mattress, chair and keyboard. We were given an initial estimate. We were also ensured that our belongings would be shipped out and delivered within 4-5 weeks. — The boxes and furniture were picked up on July 27, 2021. Afterward, we did not receive any communication until we called them on August 16, 2021 tp check on our delivery. We were told that they could contact us back at the end of the week to let us know when our belongings would be shipped and that it was not palletized at time of call. — We received no call back and we reached out again that same week only to be given the answer that it would be the next Wednesday (08/25/21) that we would have the final weight and cost. — The day came and went without a callback, so we reached out again multiple times over the remainder of the week (08/25-27) and kept hearing the same update — that it is not palletized nor ready and we could expect a call back next week. — Again, silence from Ship Smart for the following week (08/30 - 09/03) except when we initiated the calls. No direct answers, only "let me check with the warehouse and get back to you." We never received a callback once. On 09/10/21, we called once again to try and escalate the situation even more. — A couple of decent days passed with communication (09/13-15), but then no more updates from Ship Smart. We received a communication explaining that our partial shipment (large furniture) was to be delivered the next week on the week of 09/20-24. — The following week, we received our couch (damaged and missing pieces), office chair, mattress and a few art pieces on 09/29/21. We called three times between 09/30 - 10/01 but no answer or callback until late 10/01. — We received a call to say that our stuff might have been shipped with another order (didn’t directly confirm that this was the case). — They confirmed that they could not find our boxes and that they had discovered they had been lost for a while. We were not once alerted to this fact, even though we had been calling them numerous times. — We (as of 1/3/22) still have yet to receive our 34 boxes. We have not been contacted by Ship Smart since 10/13/21. Since losing all of our belongings, we have had to spend an immense amount of money rebuilding our home and our lives. Absolutely no attempt has been made by Ship Smart to right this wrong, or compensate for our lost in anyway. This is a shameful business. Please — for yourself and your family — do not use them.

    Awesome experience. I talked to real people at each turn, and they answered any and all questions I had regarding my furniture shipment to Hawaii. Pick up was great, and the crew they had was fabulous! My items got to their destination sooner than expected, I was very happy. Would use again!

    BAIT AND SWITCH RATES COMPANY DOES NOT HOLD TO ESTIMATES AND CHARGES 3 TIMES THE QUOTED PRICE! BEWARE! I'm moving items that are packed and in storage from Seattle to Boston. So I called around and got a quote from this company and others. They quoted me a lower price, it was on the order of $800-$1K less, saying that my move was probably a lot less weight than the other companies anticipated and they specialized in small moves. I trusted them, since I hadn't even had a full apartment's worth of things, just a bedroom. They came to pick up my things, which were already boxed and packed in a storage unit. I even helped load the truck to make it easier on them. The men informed me that they needed to update the inventory a little, for a couple of extra boxes and a bookshelf I forgot was there, but they asked for my signature and said I could go. After a week, when I had already flown back to Boston, they informed me that my things were ready to ship, and that the total cost would be 3 TIMES WHAT THEY QUOTED ME. I told them that I don't have that kind of money, and that the price they wanted is over twice what the competitors had quoted me. I asked why they hadn't said anything earlier when it was apparent that the estimate they gave me would not hold. They never even gave me a final inventory list or updated quote to approve. They claim that they have already packed and palatalized my belongings, and that the total weight with all of their packing materials has come out to 3 times the weight anticipated, and they didn't weigh it at all until after they had done the packing. I asked about having another company do the move since I can't afford what they're asking for, and THEY CLAIM THAT I OWE THEM THE ORIGINAL QUOTE JUST FOR PICK UP AND PACKING SERVICES. THAT WAS NEARLY ALL OF MY BUDGET FOR THIS MOVE. That was the price they quoted me for pickup, packing, transportation, and in-home delivery! I would understand if the price went up a little because the estimate was a little off, but 3 times the quoted rate is unacceptable! When I called, the person on the phone said they couldn't do anything about the price but would have their manager call me because the manager was out at that time. I agreed. No call that day. No call the next day. Weekend. No call on Monday. On Tuesday I get an email saying that I owe them the 3X amount they quoted AND if I don't pay it immediately they will also charge me storage fees for my shipment that hasn't gone out. ??????? Don't trust this company! They intentionally underestimate weights of your items to give you a smaller quote and then take your belongings hostage! I don't buy things like a bed frame or a book thinking, "Hm, I wonder how much this weighs" which is why I trust a moving company to estimate it for me. This moving company cannot be trusted and doesn't hold itself to its quotes or inform you of an updated estimate. If you have a budget, this company is not for you.
