  Moving company cost a good bit more than most. Decided to go with them because of the 5 star rating and wanting to have someone who would do the best job. Crew seemed all over the place and unorganized which made it seem like things took longer than they should, got lost for 30 mins trying to find my storage unit across the road somehow. Also broke a glass table which accidents happen, but all I got for it was an email said they would pay me 60 cents per pound. Which I can only conclude that Means paying 6 dollars for a table I paid 150 dollars for. So overall, would definitely go with a different company next time. Response to owner response: I was never given a quote and if I would have been given a quote for 1500 I would have hung up the phone. Just so you know though saying that doesn’t make people think I got this great deal, it makes people think, ‘1500 dollars to move half a house literally less than 2 miles away to a storage unit??’ Second I shouldn’t have to write a bad review to get money back for an item that your movers broke. That also doesn’t look good in your response. For anyone looking, the roommate I had moved the other half of the house all the way to Macon for $375 with GA Custom Movers, so I would look there. The only reason I did not was because they didn’t have availability on the day I needed. Also it’s been well over. since this message and still no compensation for the broken table

  We are sorry for the inconvenience of the movers getting lost! We see that the estimate was for 1500.00 and that they got it done in half the time and that you were only charged for 850.00. We have refunded you for the table in full and you should see that on your card in 3 days. We hope that your next experince is much better and that you would allow us another chance in the future!

  I called Simple Moving Solutions to hire movers to help me load my POD moving container. I had a set day and time, but due to unforeseen events I needed to move up that day and time. They worked with me and were able to help me. The gentlemen who came to load up everything were AMAZING! They were extremely professional, kind, knowledgeable and very understanding. They had no problem taking time to do things correctly so that things would not break in my long distance move. They took care of my things and furniture just as if it was their own. (If you have a sleep number bed no need to worry with these movers.) They were very reassuring and also had no problem answering my questions. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! I was extremely impressed with my services.
