I have been storing with SmartStop since last winter, and have been so happy with the service. It's immaculate, well lit, temperature controlled, near Barracks road with an easily accessible parking lot, and has various loading dock areas as well as dolly carts they loan out for your use for free. When I first needed a storage unit, I took some time to hunt around and found they had the best prices for the size I wanted. Recently, I pulled a lot out of storage and wanted to move to a smaller unit -- again, SmartStop had the best prices for the size I wanted, and I was more than relieved that I could stay with them. The customer service is top notch - they made the transition between units seamless, and adjusted the payments without a hitch. Whenever I call, Michael and Steve are incredibly helpful on the phone and they always call back in a very timely manner. In the office, Michael - who helped me in person with both storage unit arrangements - was very kind and friendly, and got me set up with everything I needed. He made sure to show me the unit, check the new locks, double check the key cards to make sure they worked, and even loaned me a lock to use on my old unit while I was transferring my things to the new unit. It was so easy and quick both times - I budgeted an entire afternoon to deal with storage arrangements and I couldn't believe how quickly I was in and out of the office with everything squared away. My only complaint is that they were so fast and efficient, I didn't get nearly a long enough justified break from doing my homework...Awesome place, highly, highly recommend.
