Beware!! 0 stars!! We moved across the US in Aug/2021.The first scam is when they use 2 trucks. They load one up, then drive it away. They will tell you that the first one is 3000 sq ft when it only measure 2100 sq ft (make sure to measure the exact square footage of the trucks). The foreman tried to intimidate us by saying he will throw all the furniture on the lawn if I dont pay and told me it was a "special truck". Good thing I know how to measure, haha. They smoked pot in our yard during the move and they were so slow. They loaded items without padding or plastic wrap. Everyone spoke some type of Russian language and they are really degrading to women. ALL of our furniture is damaged and so much was missing, especially tools. They put plastic tape on leather and wood and it left sticky marks and pulled off paint. I also think they urinated on our items after pickup. My furniture was obviosly stored outdoors because of sun damage and melted items. Be careful working with "Jen". She is nice until she gets your money, then she will ghost you. Total scam job!!

My movers were AWESOME! They notified me 30 minutes before their arrival and arrived on time. My movers, Gerson, Willie, Julio, and Byron are the best movers! Make sure you ask for them! They were extremely polite, fast and efficient! I moved 2 days from my old place and they still got done fast! Definitely pick Speedway Movers for your next moving adventure!

I was moving out of state and requested a quote to pick up from two locations; the home I was living in and a storage unit. I was told that two trucks would be sent (one to each location), picked up simultaneously and then delivered the next day (Saturday and Sunday). I phoned every day for three days prior to the move to confirm the arrangements and to try to get an estimated time of arrival. I was told that each time that everything was in place and that they would let me know when they had the time. This struck me as odd since I was supposed to be the only pick up of the day given this was a long-distance move. Friday evening, I was told they would be at each location between 9-11am; two trucks and 6-7 men to do the moving. I also asked that I be notified 1-1/2 before arriving at the storage unit morning of so that I can meet them there and allow for travel time. They said, no problem. In terms of payment, I was told that I could pay with a Cashier's Check for the deposit and cash, or money, for the balance due upon delivery. At 9:30am Saturday morning, I received a phone call asking if they could send one truck to the storage and pick up the contents of the house on Sunday. I said no, that is not what we agreed and they needed to keep their commitment. I received another call saying that there is no way they could send two trucks the same day and they would send one truck on Saturday and one truck on Sunday, then deliver everything on Sunday. Needless to say, I was not happy (putting it mildly). At 10:07 am, Saturday morning, I received the following text message: “So i just spoke with the supervisor of the drivers and he informed me that because of the job size of your move, they would need to do a 2 day window for the pickup, they will be going to your storage today to load the trucks, and then come to your house to lead what they can, and then come back in the morning to lead the rest of the items in the house, and then leave for Henderson and unload the on Sunday, They said that would be the only way that this could be done, I know that you will not be happy with this arragement(sic) and we are will to(sic) offer you a discount because3 of this, This is why I am sending this to you in a text, so it is in writing, I am so very sorry about all of this,” At 10:30 I asked how far away the drivers were and was told they were an hour away, even though I asked for 1-1/2 notice because of the distance. The drivers arrived at 1:15pm, not the 9-11am window that I was given. I arrived at 2pm, due to unexpected traffic for a Saturday, found two trucks and 3 men, and they began at 2:15 pm. They finished loading just before 5pm and was told that they would not be going to my house and would load on Sunday. At 10:15am when they arrived, I was told they the empty truck was not operating properly and they have to request a new one. At 11am I was notified that the new truck would not be there until 1:30 pm. I received a text message 9:19am from the driver saying that could not accept our cashier’s check for the deposit and everything had to be in cash; contrary to what I was told on Friday. So, the drivers refused to unload my goods unless I paid the deposit in cash. I had the cash for the delivery, which I used to cover the deposit. The furniture was not wrapped properly and the dollies gouged several pieces of furniture. On top of the gouges in my furniture, they put a hole in the wall of one of the bedrooms putting a bed together. After all of that, I asked about the discount again and was told that I would find out what it would be after the completion of the delivery; which turned out to be only $200.00. Never ever would I recommend this company and I am telling everyone I can about this horrendous experience and the TERRIBLE “CUSTOMER SERVICE” provided by Jen (i.e. declined my calls, refused to acknowledge the incorrect information on the form of payment, yelled at me via text message, etc.)
