I've had a few moves with Sweet Lou, most recently a few days ago. Every time is a pleasure and all items arrive safely. Booking is great because you're talking to real people with a human conversational tone, and without any fake corporate nonsense. I recommend reading the full emails and FAQ's as they have a lot of great tips there. The crews are smart, fast, strong, and very friendly. Also they are cautious to not move something which might get broken, or is improperly packed– and will tell you in advance. Listen to them. It's worth it to have a smooth move, or to book extra movers if you have more stuff. Well-priced too. Highly recommend.

First time using movers in my 7 years of living in NY. Researched a ton of companies and saw lots of horror stories. Sweet Lou was super responsive and helpful with my many anxious questions leading up to the move. Not at all pushy like other companies that would continue to change the price to try and get me to work with them. They stuck to the quote they gave me on day 1 and I had zero issues. Some places charge more if you don’t stick to the inventory list you give them. Again, no games with pricing here. Big thanks to Reggie, Jason, and Grady! They somehow managed to get the whole move done in 2 hours despite moving from south Brooklyn to Astoria, Queens. Insane. Highly recommend.

Great pricing for movers in NYC, amazing FAQ page and very communicative Specifically want to thank our movers - Mitchell Matt Tyler and Grady - these guys were so great to work with and fast. They did our move very quickly - even with two trips. On top of that they were just really cool guys so it made the communication and time together a breeze.
