In your perfect world kids are raised to just take the authority at face value, but the imperfect world we live in has officers who abuse their power therefore deserve no respect. Blind obedience isn't the way of America, never has been. If an officer can't handle a difference of opinion and takes an insult personally or has thin skin and a big ego that gets in the way of doing their jobs without letting their emotions get the better of them, then they need to find another line of work. This office may be the best in Texas, I don't know. Just commenting on the sheriff's comments."
