As an interior designer for over a decade, I have organized deliveries my entire career. A vendor from the design center shipped my order to TLC. To my surprise, I was yelled at over the phone, because I asked simple logistical questions. Upon delivery, I told Craig that I couldn't believe he yelled at me and was so rude over the phone. His response was "Are you still talking?" I had done nothing but give the address of the building, ask his eta and the inform him I was in the alley waiting, professionally. I think it is disgusting to talk to someone in this manner. Regardless of a paying client or not. People deserve respect.

We did not hire this company. Instead, we awoke one fine morning to find their massive truck wedged in the alley behind our house, with no clearance on either side, and smashing into the trellis fence of our deck and nearly doing the same to our neighbor's fence. Any competent moving company would have avoided even entering such a tight space, but not this one. It took about 20 minutes for the owner and driver, Craig, to extract the truck from this ill-advised maneuver, but not without further damaging our fence. Craig was apologetic at the scene, and left his business card. He offered to attempt to repair the fence himself, but we declined and said we would contact the original contractor who installed it. Now Craig is refusing to pay for the repairs, claiming that our fence was at fault for getting in his way! If you are looking for someone slightly shady to cut some corners for you (literally and figuratively), this may be the right company. But if you care about the safety of yourself and your neighbors, avoid TLC Moving and Storage.

TLC must mean Toxic Language and Cursing. After reading the reviews I realize I am just one of many customers Craig has screamed at. I went to pick up a table I had shipped to TLC this morning. Craig was rude from minute one. He charged me double what I was quoted on the phone and in writing in email. When I asked him about it he started yelling at me. Then when I pointed out that he was yelling at me he said he was actually thanking me for pointing out an issue he needed to correct with his staff. Weird way to thank a customer. I’ll never subject myself to Craig’s abuse again. Craig - before you write a defensive response maybe you should realize that many of your customers have written reviews about layout lack of customer service and tendancy to scream and yell. Be an adult and take responsibly for your actions instead of making excuses. We’re not all wrong.
