I worked with Trinity in shipping items to one of my real estate seller clients. Kyle responded to my messages quickly and was so friendly. I met his moving crew when they came to pick up the household items to be shipped and they were extremely kind and courteous and careful when handling the seller's belongings. They delivered the items across country by the next day and the seller's were thrilled with the speed of the delivery as well as the professionalism of the crew. Trinity will be my new go to for any shipping needs.

I hate to be a voice of dissent amid so many glowing reviews, but my experience with this company was not good. I was moving from North Carolina to Delaware to enter a Ph.D. program at a northeastern university, and as a single mother with three children, I started looking early, not just for the best price but also for a company that I felt would be trustworthy. In fact, I chose Trinity despite having better offers from other companies. On April 6, in preparation for an early August move, I confirmed via text message with Kyle that the movers would be able to take apart my children's bunk beds. I verified this again by email with Kyle on July 16... yet when the movers (not Kyle, or anyone else pictured in the photos online) arrived, they said they didn't have any tools with them and couldn't take the beds apart. This was incredibly frustrating for me, as it had been one of my main concerns about the move and I had been so careful to make sure it would happen. I was back and forth with Kyle on the phone, who ultimately offered to deduct $25 for the tools, which I had to buy. (Because it was so late, I ultimately had a neighbor help me with the beds the following day.) My second complaint was the apparent lack of communication between Kyle and the actual movers. Kyle and I had arranged in advance for them to come on Saturday, load up the boxes, then return on Sunday for the furniture and other items we were still using. However, on Saturday night (already well past my children's bedtime, as the movers arrived after 7 p.m. and took several hours to load the truck) they called me and said they were taking everything at once. This was not what I had agreed to, and it meant that I had to come back (my children and I were elsewhere, as I have an unvaccinated six-year-old and Kyle could not verify either the movers' vaccination status or that they would wear masks--some didn't) and hustle to sort out what we had been planning to still have in our possession for another day, leaving my children waiting in the car outside. We ended up having to throw some items away (our vacuum cleaner, for example) because of this lack of planning; some things simply didn't fit in our car. Finally, the movers took no pains to prevent damage to our belongings, as the photos attest. Items that should have been wrapped (lamps and pictures) were not, and several pieces of furniture were scraped and scratched up. Unfortunately, I did not discover most of the damage until later (Marcus told me about only one lamp), so I gave them a substantial tip without realizing how careless they had been with our belongings. The thing that made me most angry was the broken switch of a floor lamp that the movers had set up and put a bulb in; they obviously knew they had broken the switch, yet they said nothing. I don't know why my experience is so different from that of others who have posted, whether it comes down to the company taking on more jobs than they can handle at once, or their having taken advantage of my being a single mother and not present during the loading and unloading (I'm sorry, but my children's protection from Covid is more important than anything else). Kyle did send me $100 for the damages via PayPal, but, as I told him, I did not find that to be fair compensation considering the extent of the damage and the cost of the move (over $3000), and I can't deny that I take it personally that so poor a job was done. I think that a company that invokes the Holy Trinity in its name and prides itself on Christian values should be more conscientious to reflect those values.

      Response from the owner

Sorry about the bad experience but to answer a few of your main concerns. 1. The bunk beds beds usually come with specific tools that are needed for that type of bed. You didn’t have these tools and we offered to go get and still take it apart(you refused as it wasn’t fair to the guys to take the extra time) 2. On the fact we took all the items in one day, a message from you “If they want to go ahead and take everything on the 31st and not have to come back on the 1st, that’s fine.” 3. On the price we quoted you for a 20ft truck based on your items. 3 months later and we had to go up to a 26ft truck. We sent an extra guy and got the bigger truck at no charge to you. 4. The lamp did break and we reimbursed you for that and a little extra. 5. Due to HIPPA we will never disclose if your employees are vaccinated or not you asked and said that you would find somewhere else to be as you were worried. Not sure why that is even relevant to your move. We hope that you are enjoying your new place and that your doctorate work is going well.

NOTHING shrink wrapped, bubble wrapped or padded! Items piled in garage and on screen porch and not brought into house. I DIDN’T request nightstands and upholstered couch to be left on screened porch! These “professionals” tried to move couch into house through porch and it didn’t fit. Said they’d return next day to move into house thru front door. 4:30 in afternoon and they had to leave to return rental truck. Accused me of wanting to “rearrange “items! Told me I’d have to pay extra to have them return Owner since said crew leader “IS NO LONGER WITH US”! Crew said they didn’t want to tell owner they hadn’t finished job… So they told story about me wasting time with indecision and being nasty! HORRIBLE way to treat honest trusting people… a senior citizen even!!! 1/16/2022 UPDATE Owner sent email saying I’d be sued if I didn’t remove negative reviews. He admitted mistakes made and lessons learned. He asked how to make it right. Excerpts from my response….NO REPLY FROM TRINITY MOVERS… Good afternoon Kyle, I have been putting off writing this note to you all week long… It is very upsetting to revisit what happened to me and all my meticulously cared for belongings as a result of this move. You asked me what would make me feel better… What would make me feel comfortable taking down my reviews and not feeling like I had to warn other people. We had agreed that the $1000 I was planning to pay when the guys came to finish bringing the job would be used for help I needed to carry all the larger items into my house. You decided that nobody was coming back to finish bringing things into my house. It was shortly there after that I began to realize the extent of the damages. I used the $1000 as agreed, paid $350 to get two couches cleaned as I ddnt want to pay for chairs and barstools that were soiled. I have an estimate for $2000 to repair all wood furniture damaged. Damage to large oil so bad and finally third restoration specialist agreed to do it but I have estimate estimate yet. Almost all of artwork chipped or scratched, all my outdoor furniture scratched and needs painting, one lamp completely broken, another cracked and cant be repaired, an expensive piece of upholstered furniture has hole in fabric that cant be repaired, another has dent in side and is unusable, Weber grill, which had cover on it, has gouges thru cover and baked enamel surface, down to bare metal and needs to be replaced along with cover with holes, cracked/broken landscaping rocks and my outdoor table is bent. Not to mention my plants that I was told were safe and were delivered frozen and dead. Many I had had for decades and several that I was offered a significant sum to sell before I l moved. I was accused of being nasty and difficult as well as wasting time! Absolutely none of this is true but I was made to feel that I had to defend myself! So what would make me feel that I did not have to warn other people so that they didnt have this awful experience. Do you not consider this A total nightmare? Aside from the ridiculously strenuous and depressing first month in my new home, I will spend over $5000 doing the best I can to bring my belongings only close to the condition they were in before your “professional company” handled them. I can come up with no other solution then a full refund. I was definitely not given the service that was promised and I was treated extremely badly. I hired you and your company in good faith. We obviously cannot go back and do this move the way it should have been done; the way it was promised. I will take down all reviews and even write positive reviews if you do the closest thing possible to undoing this whole experience.

      Response from the owner

Martha we appreciate you choosing us to be apart of your move but the you were treated very kind and fair for someone who didn’t pay $1000. I am sorry you are upset of the items being left in garage and on sun porch per your direction to the movers. Items were padded in the truck. We even came out after the move to get items out of your garage(that you instructed guys to leave), but you were wanting items rearranged in your home and that was not part of the contract. Not until you just refused to pay the contract amount and yelled and cussed did you start to complain about damages.
