Please read to the end to fully understand my frustration. I was quoted under $1k. Ended up being $1600. Because it took them "longer than expected." As I try to figure out the method to their madness, I remember that they brought a third man, very young along with them. I am EXTREMELY upset that my China and Crystal boxes were placed by the space for my freezer. Guess which boxes got knocked around and broken? The men stacked my boxes into our pole building without regard to labels. I found boxes labeled FRAGILE upside down at the bottom of the huge pile. One of the men had the fantastic idea to put an opened bag of grass seed on TOP of the huge pile. You can imagine what happened... Grass seed spilled over everything. Bookshelves and furniture were buried in the back. Artwork had boxes piled on top. Worst of all-- and originally I was going to let this slide-- after a box of children's books broke open when they were loading the truck, one man was sitting in the back of the truck, looking at them. He said his granddaughter loves books. Later, I saw three of my children's books on the front seat of the truck (the doors were open). Maybe he just happened to have the same books... but why were they in the moving truck? I had already given the man my China cabinet because he said his daughter was looking for one. I am exhausted trying to dismantle the mountain of disheveled boxes with spilled contents. They didn't even use the shelves they moved. Probably because they stacked them upside down.

The office staff was easy to work with and responded quickly. They organized an out of state move faster than expected. The two men who did the moving were professional, friendly and right on time. I highly recommend Two Men and A Truck.

OMG the movers were nothing less than spectacular!! They were fast, careful with the fragile things wrapping them securely and safely and they were very warm. They made the move enjoyable with the laughs and conversation. Man not to take away from the add’l movers but Tanner was like Superman he strength is impeccable
