  Unit flooded and lost 1000 dollars worth of clothes and winter jackets. Customer service will not reimburse me my 80 dollars I paid for my unit. DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE. Also it says that there are ramps but they actually only have one outside to bring it to the door. Once you get there to the door you will be trying to move your stuff up and down flights of stairs. Literally go to any other storage it will save you time money and energy.

  I had scheduled a self pickup for an out of state move. I got there and found the truck listed in the app, truck 1345. As I start the pickup process on the website from my phone, it says that I'm awaiting approval, though I've already been charged $390 for the truck. I went inside and got in line to sort things out, and as I'm in line an employee walks in and tells the other employee (the one with the cheekbone piercing; this will be important later since she is the one I talked to) that they were missing trucks for all of the bookings they had. When it was my turn, I walked to the counter with the woman with the cheekbone piercing and told her about my self pick-up not working. She just said "you were late." Granted, I was about 45 minutes late, but I had paid for the truck for the whole weekend for the out of state move. I told her that we had got caught up preparing for the move (considering my pregnant wife and I had just gotten to back to Indianapolis at midnight) and had been scrambling to get everything together. The woman said they didn't have any trucks. I asked her if she could do something to help and she eventually said no and that a regional manager would call me, which never happened. Why I'm particularly upset with this specific woman was the people behind me in line had also reserved a 10' truck that wasn't there. The employee that they were working with was polite, apologetic, and trying to find a solution for them where the woman that was "helping" me was rude, dismissive, and didn't seem to want to help. I was already charged by them and still haven't received a refund. I eventually drove 50 minutes to another location to pick up a bigger trick at a different u-haul location and I had to pay for that truck too. She didn't even tell me the truck was there; my wife and I had to call all over central Indiana to find an available truck. So all-in-all, u-haul couldn't even look for different trucks at other locations to help me. The woman that I had to work with was rude, dismissive, and lazy, even compared to the colleague just down the counter from her. Later that night I got a text that my order had been cancelled and never got that call from the regional manager. This was horrible service and I'll be working to file a formal complaint against this branch in particular.

  I rent frequently from this U-Haul and it is always a smooth experience. They always have the vehicle I requested available at the time I scheduled it for, and I'm usually in & out in 10 minutes or less. They're also helpful and flexible when I need to make changes to my reservations. Their reliable vehicles and reliable service allow me to keep my business on schedule.
