This place is a joke. I made the reservation on the website and was given a deposit amount of $41 and some change. That was for keeping the 10 foot truck for up to two days and driving it approximately 80 miles, which was over estimation. I get there and the dude was telling us how he almost rented out the truck we reserved. Then when I’m about to pay the deposit, he says the price is $214! I explained that I was quoted a much lower price when I made the reservation and he brushed that off and said this is what we have to pay today. How did he calculate that? He gave us the two days but doubled the quoted mileage because he stated that’s “policy”. And then we’d be refunded anything extra. Even after he brought down the mileage and the duration of the rental, he still said we’d have to pay over $100. We took our business to a different place and for their Uhaul truck, our deposit is $45. Avoid this place because it’s either they do not know what they are doing or are just trying to scam people.

I rent here often, and today I was helped by a young man named Harrison with my rental and its return. He went above and beyond in assisting me - he was nothing short of a customer service god. If you go to the Shorter Ave Uhaul, count yourself extremely lucky if you are also helped by this young lord. I don’t know what he gets paid, but I can tell you with certainty that it isn’t enough.
