  This is late to post, based on an experience I had at the store at 615 S Havana St in Aurora on 3/28. Went in for packing padding for my elderly Aunt. Grabbed my items and got in line behind the guy closest to the door, end of line. Watched several people come in and head into the shelves of goods. I’m short, can’t see over it- didn’t know they were in another line, what turned out to be the actual line. Thanks people!! A little heads up would’ve been nice! Moved lines. Overall waited 35 minutes to get checked out. Good grief what is taking so long?!?! 2 staff, another one watching doing nothing (turns out she was observing and brand new training). Paid a little more attention and realized that one staff was having troubles with a customer and pricing (how do you haggle the price of a box), the other was helping a young woman (20’s) arrange a rental. Listened a little more. Noticed a service dog. Listened more and realized that the young woman was having difficulties understanding the process, how to determine miles, effectively communicate her needs, understand how the trucks move around. I realized she had some delays or impairment (IDK how to say that properly) and this was all super confusing to her. She probably should have had someone with her but she was doing this on her own and getting it done. The employee calmly went through things multiple times, changing the way she explained things until the woman understood. She didn’t rush, didn’t look bothered- she understood the young woman’s situation and continued until all was understood and taken care of. She easily could have shoved her along, showed anger and impatience but she didn’t. It was so nice to see someone (Rachel) take time to treat a customer in a difficult situation with respect and courtesy. I mentioned it to her and she rather shrugged it off saying it’s her job. Wish we saw more people doing their job to that level. Well done Rachel, well done.

  This review is way over due but this is for that young man with the long hair and tom and jerry mask! He made sure i had the reassurance i needed about how the rental process works. Gave me his full attention and was kind too me even after i approached him in a hostile manner. Employees such as himself go unappreciated in such a large company but this branch is diffently lucky to have him on register. From my previous visit i have found the manager to be very irritable person, one that i don't feel should be handling customers. Will call in advance to make sure he is working before scheduling my next move!

  This U-Haul cancelled the companies reservation without reason and didn't give the 50 dollars. U-Haul from my experience is a terrible company that hires some terrible people and it's ran as such. Budget and the vacuum place are much better.
